Shield Red Dots highly recommend
Shield Red Dots sights are the best. They are the only ones I have on my pistols except another very high dollar one ( not impressed with it ) These Shields are well worth it for the price which is available at Optic Planet .

Shield Compact Mini Red Dot 1x4 MOA
First, I bought the 1x4MOA, not sure why the link says 1x8 MOA
Installed seamlessly on a Glock 43X - no adapter plates, filing bumps, changing screw length (MOS cut-out was designed for this site).
I have only shot with the the site twice, but after zero'ing, performs as expected and a nice upgrade over the irons.

Purchased this sight and went directly to the range. Out of the box it was almost zeroed, and of course I had to tweak it. Took me a minute but got it zeroed at 10 yards. Man what a difference in accuracy and acquisition. I have stigmatisms, and glaucoma which, for me causes ghost halos on the dot. Clear as a bell as long as I don't take to long in acquisition.

Cheap Quality
This product is cheaply made. Took it to the range, shooting from a barricade accidently hit a plywood with the sight when the pistol recoiled. The so called "tough" polymer broke which also broke the glass rendering it completely useless. I don't want a sight I have to baby whenever I need it to perform. I sent it back seeing if it was covered by warranty and they told me they couldn't repair it. They asked if I wanted to buy another one with an amazing discounted price of $215...unbelievable. This thing is for toy guns because it won't last in the field. Look into another model not this plastic toy.

great red dot for the hellcat
This is a good red dot optic for the hellcat, unfortunately living in California you have to have the load indicator but with the shield, you don’t notice it at all.

Overall a good value.
Bought this red dot for a Springfield Arms Hellcat as (at the time of this review) this is the only red dot available that co-wittneses with the iron sights. With the correct tools, installation is fairly easy. This red dot comes with everything needed. The battery is inserted in the bottom of the red dot base. To change the battery, the red dot must be completely removed. Unsure about how well it will register back into the same position so as not to require re-zeroing. This red dot is plastic, although seems durable. sight picture is clear, dot itself is somewhat small, however easy to pick up and aim. Zeroing controls are easy to adjust.

Shield SMSc 4 MOA
Simple to install! Originally ordered a 8 MOA but opted for the 4. I’m glad I did! More precise. Great red dot. Only thing I wish it would automatically shut off and shake to wake. But the battery lasts 3 years and it’s always at the ready on position. I understand if it kept in low light storage you will get longer battery life. That’s why I like the cover included with the site. Also LIFETIME WARRANTY. Great

Bought for a Hellcat Pro
Bought this specifically for my Hellcat Pro as this is the sight that fits it the best. No overhang, clean smooth edges with no gaps. Looks great on the gun. Reticle is a little blurry for my liking but not enough for me to not use it on an EDC firearm. Holds zero after 240+ rounds already. Not a bed red dot at all.
