Great fishing reel
The Shimano Tekota reel is great for large fish. We love them! Use them for tuna, yellowtail, striped bass, big blue and flathead catfish! The Tekota can handle them all! The line counters are great for trolling too
1 year limited warrenty
I thought I was purchasing a quaility reel but I was mistaken and the warrenty is next to nothing! I have numerous rods and reels and switch off ofter depending on what im fishing for. I purchased this reel and only used it 4 or 5 times and it started giving me problems but because I purchased it 1 year and 2 months ago its not under warrenty, regards that I only used it several times. I will never own another Shimano anything!

Shimano Tekota
Very good real for the money, typical Shimano smoothness and functionality. Reel purchased for drop down bottom fishing for ling and sea bass off the coast of NJ. Auto wind is the way to go. It should hold up well.
