I was amazed at how easily the magazine release installed. The directions were even pretty useful. The ergonomics are good, and the magazines are now much easier to release. Flush-fit 10-round factory magazines drop free at a quick snap of the magazine release. (Some of my longer Butler Creek banana clips don't drop free, but that has nothing to do with the design of the magazine release.) Pros: Works great, good ergonomics, easy install Cons: Polymer

I have an older model 10/22 and have looked at other mag releases that were pricier. So, what the heck, I'll try this one. No problems putting in, but I did have to slick it up with a dab of grease where it rides against the pin. I'm sure it will smooth out the more it's used. Just pull back and magazine drops. What more could you ask for!

Champion Ruger 10/22 Extended Magazine Release

Great little device. I have installed them on every applicable Ruger there is. My customers love them because they are inexpensive and easily installed my most users. They are very durable as well. Makes getting a magazine out very easy......even with gloves in the winter. Highly recommended.

A great addition to my 40 year old 10-22. Very easy to install. can't beat the price. Other reviewer not happy it was plastic,but so was the old part it replaced and it has lasted 40 years.
