I am new to shooting and wanted something easier to carry to the range than sandbags. I shoot Ar 15s and I had a hard time with this stand. The leather pad is not as big as I expected it would be. The benches at the range are not much to brag about. I had a hard time getting a good position and it didn't feel HIGHLY stable. It is very well built and highly adjustable and I would still buy it even knowing what I know now. Just wasn't as great of a solution as I was expecting and I think that is by design NOT just specific to this make/model. Price wise it is a good value!
Pros: good quality
Cons: smaller than it looks
