Short chamber

by Opfor, from AZ, United States Written on November 18, 2021
This review is for the Shooters Innovation 18" 6.5 grendel barrel. Seems to run relatively well on 100gr steel cased wolf ammunition, but does not reliably cycle anything else. Hornady 123gr match will seldom cycle, and frequently cause the gun to lock up, requiring a "mortar" to open the bolt. Many of the stuck bullets show clear rifling marks indicating a short chamber. I have reached out to the company with no response, but other online reviews I've found mirrored my problems.
