If you have a level 3a vest with a 5x8 speed plate pocket this is the ticket. Most people think they need a rifle plate carrier for home defense, but the reality is that most attacks will be with handgun rounds. A Kevlar vest is much more practical and has much better coverage. But, some carriers have a small pocket in the front for a plate that protects heart and lungs. This is perfect for this application. The PE is vey thin, very light, and the best example I’ve seen of a speed plate ICW soft armor. Highly recommend for a small bit of rifle protection in your soft vest.
