They're really easy to pop out. Just like my hip joint. Except these probably come with a warranty. Ever since I put these in my rifle my job gave me a raise, my wife cancelled our divorce, and my friends respect me! Thanks Strike Industries!

Solution to a problem that doesn't exist?
This prevents the takedown and pivot pin to not come out without intent- you pull out and take off the upper, then rotate and pull the rest of the way out- and thete goes my detent. Really, its a non-existent problem. You'll have a harder time getting the rear takedown pin out then the pros you'll g...

Great Shift Pins
I wanted better and easier-to-use shift pins for my AR and these Strike AR15 Shift Pins did the trick. I love the ease of use and they feel more secure than the original pins that came with the AR. So far they have exceeded my expectations and you can't beat the price. I'll be ordering more of these.

Strike shift Pins
Sturdy. I was having issues with my poverty ponys take downs working themselves out while shooting, these fit tight and even if they do come loose they stop half way and require force to pull them the rest of the way.

Easier to install, but sticky when using
The pivot pin is easier t instal that a standard pivot pin, but I am finding both the pivot and takedown pins to be sticky and it comes time to pull the upper from the lower. The slight advantage of an simple installation doesn't really offset the sticky issue. Maybe they will smooth out with use.

Prefer the original version of these
Bought them because they were “easy install” no easier than installing the regular pivot pin. They have a tendency to stop half way out where the horizontal slot is. Will be going back to the regular Strike Industries enhanced pins.
Pros:
- Nice fit and finish
- Make it easy to breakdown a rifle
Cons:
- Seam to be a step backward from their original
- Tend to get stop half way out
