The barrel was a perfect fit for my sig 229 which is presently chambered in 357 sig. Now this allows me to use two types of ammunition in one gun The shipping was reasonable The package arrived perfect I would definitely order from this company again

This barrel is a replacement barrel, not a conversion barrel. It is not thicker like the 9mm Barstow conversion barrels.
The replacement barrel drops into place just like the original. The Sig magazines are already stamped for both calibers. It is convenient being able to easily change back and forth.

Excellent quality which you would expect from Sig Sauer. By switching out barrels I can now shoot 40 S&W in my P229. Optics Planet had the best price going and shipping was fast and reasonable priced.

Sig P229 Barrel
I needed to replace my very worn Sig P229 barrel after thousands of rounds. After shopping the market, I couldn't resist the price, and immediate turn on an order from Optics Planet. Sig was unable to deliver on one of their own products in under a month. I find it amazing that Optics Planet has such unabated access to name brand products and can deliver without delay!
