One hitch- but Sig fixed it
The threaded barrel cap came so tightly attached I could not remove it using any of the conventional ways- heat, oil ,etc. (yes, I did try to unscrew it the correct direction initially). Ultimately I contacted Sig and they had me ship it in and replaced it. The new one works great, and in fact I'm shooting slightly tighter groups now.

Well crafted barrel!
This barrel was well crafted. It dropped right into my P225 without any issues. The thread cap is also a plus. The online customer service at OpticsPlanet was excellent from start to finish. Finally, as a retired vet, I was treated with respect! A+
