Great Factory Barrel
Great genuine Sig Sauer barrel for your P226 either to replace a worn 40 S&W barrel, or to convert your 357 Sig over to 40 S&W. Converting a 357 Sig P226 over to 40 S&W is as simple as pulling the 357 Sig barrel out and dropping in the 40 S&W. You don't even need different magazines.

Seems like a standard sig sauer barrel.
Also seems to have a little different finish. Which doesn't offend me - I am sure they have their reasons, better processes or something. Need to miltec-1 this baby though. With light heating to serve it. Make it even more teflon like.

Was a perfect drop in fit! Was a little worried about this dropping in and working being the gun was a little older, but it did.

The only barrels i put in my sigs!
This is the one and only factory Sig barrel, come packaged in a oem box, no question 100% SIG! The one I received has a drop in no fitting required fit and feeds 100%. Now all i need to do is replace front sight or install an adjustable rear sight. Love this barrel.

sig 226 40 barrel
Im not a gunsmith yet I tried to make this barrel fit wrong move cost me $180.00 I live in Hawaii no real gun smiths here
but yet I tried to do it my self. Most barrels need to be fit to the specific gun if you are not a professional gunsmith do not attempt it save your money find a professional gun smith. Nothing against Optics Planet live and learn Aloha stay safe and healthy.
