Well worth the money!

by Heber, from UT, United States Written on March 19, 2021
I’m pleased with both the scope and rangefinder. Zero’d and chronograph the bullet; added all the information into the app. I found the app to be easy to use also. Set up a paper target at 683 yards and shot a five-round group. Four of the rounds landed on 24-inch wide target; within 5 inches of elevation from the highest to the lowest. My wind read was a little off. I then elevated the turret to check the tracking on them and shot another five-shot group. Three rounds impacted the target (adjusted too much on wind read), but the elevation span was similar and impacted at the same elevation. The anti-cant lights work exceptionally well and on auto, it becomes more sensitive the farther out the range, which I prefer. Everything performed as well as I hoped it would. The drawbacks to me were the reticle is a little thicker than I’m used to, but very usable, and light transmission. I compared it to a Zeiss conventional type scope at the same power setting and it was hard to tell the difference in bright daylight, but more noticeable at dusk. All in all this system exceeded my expectation and will fit well with my style of hunting. I have had some miscommunications on yardage because some of us don’t hear very well, plus talking softly doesn't help. Range it and shoot it, is the answer, but for me, the long shots will be used for predators and plinking. This system is fun to shoot.
Pros:
  • cost
  • Useability
  • Durabilaty
Cons:
  • Light transfer
Best Used for:
  • hunting

Sig Sauer BDX system

by Jeff, from FL, United States Written on December 8, 2020
The Sig Sauer BDX system is an excellent system with the rangefinder communicating with the scope through Bluetooth and making the necessary adjustments for long shots. The BDX app was easy to download on my smartphone and it is easy to utilize.
