Most Helpful Positive Review Great scope!
I put this scope on my Savage 110 30-06. Scope is as clear or clearer than my Vortex crossfire 2. Great value for the money. Low scope rings were too low. The magnification knob contacted my scope mount. Need medium rings at minimum.
Most Helpful Negative Review SIG 3x12 mm
I got 2 of these and a range finder at a smoking deal. Know I know why on both mine .338 & my.270WSM it would not track well at all. I have taken over 150 big game animals with these rifles. The .338 had a Leupold 3x9 for the last 20 years. The .270WSM a Burris 4.5x14. I made 100 loads for each ...

Great Scope for the Price

by SJT, Verified Owner from MO, United States Written on March 9, 2025
Very clear. Holds zero. Appears to be pretty tough even if your gun has a little recoil.

I'm not sure why anyone would spend more money unless they're shooting more than 500 yds. It just works.
Pros:
  • value
  • Clarity
  • Quality
  • Price,
Cons:
  • None for me
Best Used for:
  • Hunting, shooting

Sig should be ashamed

by Average Joe, Verified Owner from OK, United States Written on November 4, 2024
Caught this on sale a couple years ago. Stuck it on my blackpowder (50 cal CVA Optima). I've never had an issue out of the weapon, I simply reconfirmed my zero every season.... Until I put on the Sig Buckmasters 3-12x44. I've had nothing but issue after issue. It won't group and dang sure won't hold a zero. Shot out my loaded round from the end of a low impact season. It was legitimately a foot and a half off. I purchased two of these because of the price and what I used to consider a reputable name. Not any more.
Pros:
  • Price
Cons:
  • Terrible performance
Best Used for:
  • air soft

Solid scope. Great price.

by Hedge, Verified Owner from OK, United States Written on October 14, 2023
Bought this to replace a couple of older scopes that were on my 5.56 and 7.62x39 AR uppers. Packaging was flawless as usual with Sig. It's a solid scope with nice fit and finish as most Sig products are. Scope caps are solid and have lots of tension in the springs. Turrets are super nice for this price point. Throw lever is tight but smooth and I don't have any issues because I eats me spinach. The clarity is superb at this price point. Nice clear image that blows away my older scopes. I've used this at dusk and even a nicely moon lit night at close range and it picks up light nicely for inside 50 yards. Plenty of videos out there about durability but I'm not one to abuse my stuff too bad so I will trust the folks that say you can beat it up because it feels like you could. It zeroed perfectly and has been great through a couple hundred rounds of 5.56 and 7.62x39. I did get the range finder but haven't tested that with the scope yet. I'm going to replace my old P223 rings though with https://www.opticsplanet.com/leapers-utg-accu-sync-qr-cantilever-mount.html I wanted a quick detach mount for it to make it easier to swap back and forth. This scope, full magazine, sling, white light, 15 inch free float rail and the cantilever mount should be right around 9 pounds in 5.56. My 7.62x39 is heavy barrel so it's a bit heavier in case anyone wondered. Eats yer spinach and ya won't even notice the lil bit of extra weight.

Great scope for the money. Completely satisfied.
Pros:
  • Clarity
  • cost
  • Holdover points
  • range finder communicates
Cons:
  • none so far
Best Used for:
  • hunting
  • Medium /Long Range
