716i Tread ambidextrous charging handle
Let me start by saying that I love Sig products. One of the reasons is that I am left handed and Sig makes their 716 rifles with many ambitious features except their charging handles. This is a sad fact since Sig products are very expensive. So I was thrilled to learn that Sig decided to make an ambitious charging handle. I backordered two charging handles and after waiting three months it shockingly arrived. It fits perfectly on my 716i Tread and also on my 2nd generation 716 DMR 308!!!. CH for 716i Tread
The stock photo shows an older version of this CH. The actual delivered product looks a lot more streamlined. Fits the 716i tread just fine. Definitely more functional than the OEM handle and looks better as well.

Got this for my Gen 1 Sig 716 Patrol and goodness does it make the difference. Perfect fit, well needed upgrade over the base single latch. Highly recommend!

Works great on my original SIG 716 (piston)
Needed an extended charging handle for my original piston driven SIG 716, turned out mil-spec AR10 charging handle does not work (tip does not grab the bolt carrier). This charging handle worked out excellent!

Better than the original
I have a Sig gen 1, 716 DMR. It is not ambi. I phoned Sig to verify if this handle would fit my rifle. Their response way "It should, but not sure". I gambled and ordered it. Fits and functions perfectly and is better than the original C.H.

Basically the only ambi charging handle you can get for the 716i
It's the best ambi charging handle you can get for the 716i since it's proprietary and of course OP had it in stock. Installs how you'd expect, works how you'd expect. Nice piece from Sig.

Should've done this sooner
Once I received this charging handle I installed it and realized I should've had it higher on my priority list. The picture makes it look like it has wings sticking way out, it does not. In my opinion it is just the right size. I don't like larger than need be controls on my guns and this one is just right for me. Much better functionality. Definitely recommend.

Must have for Sig 716i
It makes a worldly difference on my 716i Tread with comparison to the one came with the gun. It was really hard to operate on the old one, almost made me feel like jam whenever pulling the charging handle. This ambidextrous CH solves everything, it fits well with 716i and makes it easy & smooth and less friction as well.
