Surprising - SIG SAUER ECHO3 1-6x23mm Thermal Reflex Sight

I saw the negative review and decided to take the shot anyway. The concept of a reflex thermal intrigued me. In my area, the longest shot I will take will be around 200 meters due to foliage and micro terrain. Obviously, I don't need a super highspeed ATN or PAS 13. I mounted it to a Sig 716i chambered in .308/7.62x51. The weapon itself, shooting Red Army standard, is probably 3 MOA so there aren't going to be any B4 championships happening in my backyard. This optic is perfect for my use. Eye relief is perfect, target pickup is perfect, and the multiple palettes allow me to relive my childhood fantasies of chasing Arny through the jungles in South America while I make weird alien noises. The menu cycling is intuitive. The optic was near zero'd when I threw it on the rail. All in all, for my situation, this optic rocks. I may take it off and put it on my CZ Scorpion to make a CQB build, but right now only communist coyotes are invading, so I'll keep it on my .308.
