Most Helpful Positive Review Good Product but Pricey Upgrade
Product is as advertised. Optics planet needs to change the picture as what is shown is P320 grip.
Most Helpful Negative Review Solution to fit
If you're one of the ones with trouble getting it to fit, the reason is the front interface for the FCU. It slides back and forth in the grip module, and has a little rubber nub at the front. You're meant to push forward on the FCU to compress that bumper, and that will allow it to seat. Mine was im...

Great feel

by Patrick Brady, Verified Owner from NC, United States Written on May 15, 2026
The AXG grip module ups the X-Macro game considerably. The additional weight, exchangeable grip panels, and ability to accept my favorite mag well were all big upgrades.
Pros:
  • Feel & function, sturdiness, aesthetics
  • Qualify of design, machining and materials
Cons:
  • None

Solid Purchase

by Gunslinger, Verified Owner from CA, United States Written on March 17, 2026
This frame is a MUCH better way to go than any of the polymer options. It adds weight, the feel is excellent and you can put your own grips on it to add texture/more weight. Win/win.

Great upgrade. Aluminum AXG Grip Module. Shoots super good. Replacement grips available. Worth it! Fits xmacro holsters
Pros:

Cons:
  • Wish it came with g10 grip panels. That's not much of a con. It's a personal preference.

Sig P365 AXG grip

by HCVA, from VA, United States Written on January 26, 2026
I was already a big fan of the P365 platform. I originally purchased the X-Macro and followed up with 2 of the Wilson Combat grips in smaller sizes. I finally decided to purchase the AXG grip (I prefer the black to Sig's legion standard legion color) and shot a few hundred rounds through the gun/new grip this week at the range. Recoil was already low with he comped slide, but the added weight of the AXG grip takes it practically to nothing. The grip feels great in the hand and I'll likely add some wood grip panels in the near future.

Overall, excellent fit and feel for the AXG grip. I got it for just over $200, but I would have a hard time justifying at $300+, especially if I already had the X-Macro grip (since you're not really getting any size difference between that and the AXG).
Pros:
  • Quality
  • Weight
  • Grippy
Cons:
  • cost

Get a grip

by Tiebs, Verified Owner from TN, United States Written on January 22, 2026
I’ve had my p365xl for several years now and loved it from the first time hold it. But as times progressed I’ve noticed that the original grip left some to be desired . I don’t have large hands so to say but med/large gloves usually. So when the macro module released I was all in, especially the Wilson combat one that added just a bit more width. But still something felt like it was missing. Then the legion modules dropped. Unfortunately I couldn’t justify spending that much for an entirely new gun when I already had a perfectly good 365. I waited and waited, even waited once the Axg dropped. I finally took the chance on and bit the bullet. Yes they are price, but nothing like other options out there (ie. Mischief Machine, Shalotek, Icarus, etc). I would have loved to be able to just the price of a Mischief but it just doesn’t make sense for my current situation. Saw the excellent price listed through optics planet for this module and jumped on it. And boy was it worth it. This module just feels so right. The weight is perfect and balances so well. Just feels so natural to point now. Added the Sig oem magwell also and it felt even better. Yes I understand that doing all this just makes the gun heavier and bigger (which goes away from the original thought of it), but I think it was worth it for me. Not a fan of the solid black color, or the plastic panels, but I have some g10 ones on the way to match the feel of the legion even more. Plus plan to cerakote the gun eventually fo...

perfect balance

by Jonny D, Verified Owner from IN, United States Written on November 17, 2025
Okay to start with the polymer grip panels. Feel kind of cheap on the really nice aluminum grip module. And to get your FCU to fit in properly, it's best to have the takedown up and a armors mallet to lightly tap the back end down. Then once the back end is down, you have to push on the FCU and the little rubber holders and slide the pin through and then use a punch to finish punching the pin in. Then once it's all together the slide may or may not want to move freely on there. Grease it up. Rack it a bunch of times and it starts to break in to fully break it in. You need to shoot about 500 rounds. I will tell you that recoil medication is much better

  • Weight
  • Comfort
  • feel
Cons:
  • grip panels

Does not fit, don't fall for it.

by Rherf44, Verified Owner from TN, United States Written on November 9, 2025
I purchased this back at the end of May 2025 and did not receive it until October. Long story short it will not fit. It almost seats with light tapping with gun mallet. This was confirmed by a gunsmith. I wanted it to work so bad with my P365 X-macro I ordered a P365 FCU and again it did not fit. The FCU did however fit perfectly in my P 365 Xmacro and NOT in my aluminum lower mod that I waited 5 months for.
