Most Helpful Positive Review Small and functional
This is my first range finder, but it has all of the features I wanted including the line of sight (LOS) and angle modified range (AMR) calculations. I do not need any features to link it to a smart phone or other device so I am most happy with this very economic model that gives me all I need. It i...

Most Helpful Negative Review Sig Optics
I have a Kilo 1250. Will not rage a hill side passed 475.I sent it to sig Sauer for repair. They said theres nothing wrong with it and sent it back. Its completely worthless in Wyoming. Not bad for close ranges but anything pass 475 worthless. Very unhappy with Sig.

Great item.

Item preforms as it is advertised. Used in the field and did not disappoint me. I recommend this item to all sportsmen. Sig Sauer is a quality product that should be considered when looking for a rangefinder.

Awesome range finder

by Chris O., from CA, United States Written on January 4, 2020
Very inexpensive and works great. I’ve it it range out to 1450yds with no problems. I use it every range trip, rain or shine. Optic is clear and data is easy to see. The body feels great and has a rubberized texture, button is tactile and doesn’t feel cheap. Comes with a well made carrying case and handy lanyard.
Pros:
  • Lightweight & accurate
Cons:
  • None
Best Used for:
  • Hunting Range

Easy to use and works well for the price.

by Caldy, from KS, United States Written on August 30, 2019
This range finder is pretty easy to set up and use. Point and click. I used it to range steel plates and berms out to 1000 yards. You occasionally have to down to something closer to range then back up to a further target.

kilo 1200, great when it works

by George, from MD, United States Written on August 10, 2019
Really like this little guy when It's working. The glass is pretty clear, I love the features, and (at least within 400 yards) it's really accurate.
My only complaint is that the machine often locks on the startup screen and won't lase. It's no big deal at the range. But, it's a nuance and, as it stands right now, I don't trust it to work on a hunt.
Bummer.
That said, I still think that if you get it on sale then It's a good deal.

Excellent buy for the money

I apologize in advance for this wall of text; I couldn’t figure out how to do line breaks. For the price, this is a pretty high-quality rangefinder. It’s rated out to 1200 yards, and unlike most ratings on these things I’d say that’s pretty accurate. I actually got mine to range a house at just under 1300 yards. I was also messing around with it while fueling up, and it was having no problem tracking and ranging cars going 80 mph on the freeway. That stretch of road was about 6-800 yards out. Speaking of tracking, the glass is clear and the field of view is fairly wide. I had no problem following cars, which are moving much faster than anything you’d ever need to track. Controls are simple and pretty ergonomic; if you hold it naturally it’s easy to push the “range” button. The glass, as I mentioned, is good. There’s enough clarity that I can use it effectively around sun up and sundown. Obviously it’s not as good for low-light conditions as something with an illuminated display, but it’s also much, much cheaper. I’m confident it will be useful come deer season, and I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend it.
Pros:
  • easy to use
  • Accurate
  • low price
  • good glass
Cons:
  • Might not be ideal for extremely low-light conditions
Best Used for:
  • hunting
  • target shooting at <1k yards
  • sighting in rifles
  • making spaghetti

Exactly what I wanted

by Ray, from GA, United States Written on May 17, 2019
Tried the Kilo 1200 for the first time at CMP Taledega. Stood behind my friend at the firing line, zeroed the Target 600 yards away. It read 601.3 yards. My friend said that’s pretty accurate. I pointed out that I was 1.3 yards behind the firing line.
Pros:
  • Easy to use. REALLY easy to use
Cons:
  • None
