I can get a range perhaps 1 out of 10 times after pressing the range button if I'm lucky. Mostly all I get out it are 5 dashes appearing in the reticle which isn't particularly useful. The battery indicator indicates 4 bars at the moment, but sometimes drops to 0 bars and and then back to 3 or 4. I'll try a fresh battery (I don't have a spare now), but as of this writing I'd say stay away. The thing is either defective or got shipped with a wonky battery.

The Sig Kilo 1600 preforms well. Small and light weight. I am looking forward to using it to hunt white tail. Only complaint is the price, there are other rangefinder as good or better for less. It is clear and moving form one mode to anther is quite easy. I have only ranged out to 450 yards, the image is clear.
Pros:
- Compact, clear and easy to use.
Best Used for:
- Hunting and mid to moderate range shooting 500-600 yards

I’ve looked at many other brands at this price point, most were difficult to see the readout or find the object you are ranging. Not this unit. Great right out of the box. I’m not a hunter, using to range targets on the range I’m setting up and measurements around property.
Pros:
- easy to use
- Clear Readout, Easy to see and read

The Glass is clear with clear images. It is very easy to use with only a few settings. It picks up deer very far away. I Replaced my old leupold rangefinder with this and very happy with the purchase.

The sight is adjustable for distances and the view is great would recommend to anyone. Great for long and short distance. Used if for hunting and target shooting. Also price is not bad. Great product.
I now have family and friends buying this product.

Great product and the red illumination is much easier to see at low light. The glass is much better and makes everything more clear. Worth the extra money if you hunt a lot. The extended range is definitely noticeable.

So positives: the red display is great. Really helps. so do the LOS and HCD modes. The scan mode is great too. The bad: I couldn’t get it to range non-reflective targets (trees) past 600 yards. Tried multiple targets. That was my limit (huge Douglas fir trees too). I didn’t try reflective targets, I’m sure it would do better. I’m using this to hunt - and no I’m not shooting game at 600 yards. But it helps to know just how far out something is to better position yourself for an ethical hunt. Anyhow, I found the actual non-reflective distance disappointing. I returned it.
Pros:
- Functionality
- Red display
Cons:
- Range distance non reflective targets

The sig saur 1600 has been a very good range finder. It has a very durable and sleek design fits well just in you jacket pocket. The red display it’s like no other ranger finder super easy to see and read in low light conditions. Product is also very user friendly set up is done in seconds and can change very simply in the field if needed.

I bought this model because I was looking for something that was affordable and still had the red display. The simply is great in low-light conditions. Rangefinding is very quick and accurate. This thing works better than my $1,000 surveying laser rangefinder that I use for work.
