Most Helpful Positive Review Slop in fit, good red dot solution, though
Great way to add a red dot to the classic P-series without having to mill a slide. A Romeo X attached onto this slide with no issues. The only issue with these slides is the sloppy slide to rail fit. You can rock it from side to side. (Think World War II-era 1911.) Not what I expected for the price - or from Sig.

Purchased the Sog Factory Pro Cut Slide for a new build P229, and couldn’t be more pleased with the overall fit and finish. It’s expected from Sig, and they delivered. The contrasting sights are an added bonus, and were spot on accurate at the range.
Pros:
  • Factory fit and finish
Cons:
  • Not as light as hoped with the cutouts.
Best Used for:
  • EDC & competition

P229 PRO-Cut

So far, it has worked really well to convert my P229-40 to 9mm. It's nice ungrading a 25 year old gun. It is also nice to have an optic cut on it. Plus, it looks great.

This is a great improvement for my 229 reduces recoil, cut for direct application of romeo1pro and great look to it and almost $200 less than sig Sauer direct Order from optics planet was easy and fast
