I didnt expect the fit will be perfect.. reset is so outstandand.. thanks much. Only thing missing is the barrel so i wont spending and using different ammo. Thats all i can say. All and all great job team..

Why didn't I do this sooner

Any stock p226 needs this if you want that elevated breaking glass feel normally associated with the 1911 platform. Perfect and should be stock on any p226.

Srt for the Sig P226

Install went easy thanks to a couple of videos still on YouTube. Helps to have long fingers when changing the Sear and make sure to use both hands for setting the spring back in place. Overall fairly easy and quick. And the reset itself is now perfect. Should've came this way out the factory but it is what it is

Prompt shipment and delivery! OP had it when Sig was out of inventory. Alternate Manufacturer was also out of inventory. OP very often has lower pricing than what is common on other sites. Video instructions on installation is available on You Tube!

Short Reset Trigger

All Sig Sauer P models need the SRT, it is a must have! This will make your Sig Sauer P mode gun similar to the Sig Sauer Legion series. I just purchased this for my Sig Sauer P226. I’m extremely happy with this purchase. Optics planet always come thru for me!

Perfect fit

Absolutely must have if you rock a p227 you will know the difference immediately! Got one in my p227 rx! The reset is so much quicker when you let off..literally the trigger slightly moves a hair and resets. Great addition to a great pistol!

Sig Sauer SRT Kit Sri 226, 227,228,229

Excellent product easy to install works as it should I install it on my sig sauer P228 and it has a very nice short reset. If you’re looking to upgrade your sig I think this is a good upgrade. If you’re not sure how to install it you should take it to a good gun smith also if you’re gun is under warranty and you do it yourself be advised you void your warranty but you can find some good instructional videos on utube to show you how to install it

Dramatic improvement

Put these babies on my Sig P229 40/357. It brought the old girl (1994) back from the dead. Instant pickup of the front sight in daylight conditions with or without my glasses. Accuracy has improved 5 fold. Highly recommended.

Sig Sauer Short Reset Trigger

After searching the internet for this product I found it on OpticsPlanet at the best price. Previous purchases from them assured me that I would receive the best product at the best price with the best service. I was not disappointed! The part arrived within a week and the description of it made it easy to install. I did review a couple YouTube videos to make sure I was only doing what was necessary but the install couldn't have gone smoother. The part made an amazing difference in the way my pistol functions. Follow-up shots are much quicker and the trigger pull is still as smooth as original! My experience with OpticsPlanet has always been very satisfying and I will continue to use them for future purchases.

Best improvement you can make.

For the money this is a vast improvement in reset. Install is not to bad , watch a video and it’s pretty easy to figure out. I really don’t know why the srt isn’t standard but they love to sell upgrades.
