not bad for the money but ...
First point, about the folding hinge...out of the box the hinge was very hard (tight) unlock from the open position. Even after mounting I was unable to unlock the brace until I dismounted from the rail. You have to push down on the top of the hinge to unlock from the open position. I couldn't see a...

best folding brace
These are by far the best folding braces currently available. I have purchased several braces over the years and all have been a let down in some degree (including these). What this currently has going for it is the lock up mechanism. It isn’t going to fold up on you when you don’t want it to, which is critical... The major downside to this brace is that the backend can spin a little bit. Is it perfect? No. But I haven’t found anything better. If you want something better, pay the $200 tax stamp and get a real stock. If the back piece wouldn’t spin, it would get a solid 5 stars.
Pros:
- rugged
- high quailty
Cons:
- None

Perfect for a 10/22 charger
Minimal fuss install, looks great and functions better than I thought it would on my 10/22 charger. Was a bit stiff on getting to fold at first but added a little dry lubricant and worked it open and close a few times.

very well made an looks great
Great brace for my Ruger pcc. I have both this an the SB tactical similar to this CB one. The folding mechanism is better on the Sig. I can really recommend this and it makes my Ruger PC 9 mm charger pistol a very small package easily sit on the front seat
Pros:
- heavy duty folding mechanism
- Very smooth folding action
Cons:
- None

great brace
Love how sturdy this brace is. Just right length and super sturdy folding brace. Gonna order another one to go on my AKV. I wanted this model after comparing it to the SB version. Wish I would have bought 2 more. Also, very comfortable for me when shooting
Pros:
- Very strong and rugged
- Well made & foldable
Cons:
- None
Best Used for:
- Pdw weapon

Stiff Spring but Quality
The Sig brace is definitely quality, however the spring is extremely stiff. It takes two hands for me to fold and unfold. Also, on the Ruger PC Charger the hinge hangs low and was hitting my hand. I reversed the brace so it folds to the ejection side and the hinge is on the opposite side. So far I like it better that way on the PC Charger, but then you have to push down instead of up to deploy the brace.
Pros:
- Quality construction
Cons:
- Stiff spring mechanism

Good not best
Bought this brace for a 9mm PDW and has been mostly trouble free so far. Something to be aware of is that the brace end spins pretty freely and the clam shell likes to open up a little. The spring is also pretty strong when trying to fold, I can do it one handed, the gf has to use 2 hands, unfolding is pretty easy. When installing, make sure its aligned correctly with the rail section, learned that the fun way! Overall I would say this brace is the best for the application, could use some improvements though.

Sig brace.
Well made and locks up tight. Makes a world of difference shooting an AK pistol. Don’t like that the brace pivots but that is easily corrected. The pivoting attachment point is metal and the brace extension seems to be made of a very hard polymer.
Pros:
- Well made and sturdy
Cons:
- Brace portion pivots
Best Used for:
- AK with Picatinny rail on rear trunion

Good but but would love to see 1 feature
I bought one of these a while back for my MCX. I like it quite a bit. It's light weight, doesn't bend when used or anything negative. It is as other have said a little stiff to get it to fold. My personal complaint is the pivot. Not that it can pivot, so much as both pieces can.
I would love to have seen a feature to pin or lock one of the brace sides and leave the other free to adjust. Or maybe just requiring a more deliberate action to move them, or some more resistance than it has now.
As it is now I never quite know what angle the end of the brace is going to be at when I bring it up, and it can just not feel quite right or sit right without adjustment. It has been a minor complaint though.
It works as intended though and I've been overall happy with my purchase.

Excellent Brace
Bought this for my grand power stribog, and I’m 100% satisfied. It’s well made, sturdy, and looks awesome. Ergonomics are perfect. My only complaint would be that it’s kinda tough to fold, but that isn’t a top concern of mine, and I imagine that with more use it’ll break in better.
