Very nice surprise. Pretty cool sight, more rugged than I expected.
Most Helpful Negative Review Faulty optic
Swapped the battery out and tested the voltage of both batteries. Optics red dot still wouldn’t stay on. Had to send it back.

wont hold Zero

by chicken little, Verified Owner from RI, United States Written on August 14, 2025
Perfect size for my p365x macro, zeroed in at range fired two shots, on 3rd shot did not hit paper the bore sighter showed red dot went from zero to high left also noticed the adjustments for windage and elevation were difficult to move and elevation adjustment moves down when adjusting up. Will go back to a Vortex ccw cant trust this sight on my carry weapon.

For whom was the on/off switch designed?

by Bill B, Verified Owner from NY, United States Written on April 20, 2025
The on/off button on this sight is so poorly located I cannot operate it with my finger. To reach it, I have to use a pencil or pen.

Mounting screws stripped

by Jacob Easley, Verified Owner from NC, United States Written on March 17, 2025
I bought this sight months ago and mounted it, the plate they send you only has holes cut in the back so if you have prongs in the front you cant use it like me, but the set they sell from sig itself has holes cut in the front, my second time shooting with the sight on my gun the sight flew off and hit me in the face( yes i tq'd it right and put thread lock) the hdwr had completely stripped out, i look it up and come to find out its a common problem for this sights hdwr so i do not recommend

I've been looking for a red dot for my G48 MOS, and I went through 4. This one was cheaper than some of them and the price was cheaper.

Nothing wrong with it

by Nick, Verified Owner from CA, United States Written on February 22, 2025
Bought this for my Mossberg 590S. Zero issues so far. Handles the 12 ga recoil without issue and is a good size for natural aiming. Came with all necessary tools for mounting and a battery as well. Hard to beat this deal for the price. I would buy again and again.

Works. Good value for what it is. Very compact.

by Kevin, from TX, United States Written on January 31, 2025
Moved a Holosun 407 from my Sig P365 to a 1911 where I had an optic cut performed. Purchased because of the Sig name and a price point that was just too good to not give it a shot. It's very light, seems constructed well enough (we will see), and mounted easily - which I'd expect. Is it the same quality as the Holosun product? No. Will it suffice for it's intended purposes? Probably. I elected to mount without the shroud. While it may provide some protection, it adds a lot of relative size for a device being mounted to a subcompact EDC, and it looks cheap. If it breaks, it breaks, and lesson learned to spend more in the future. Those things said, I feel the overall value presented is worth the risk and hope to be pleasantly surprised versus slightly disappointed.
Pros:
  • Size, weight, price
Cons:
  • Wait and see.
Best Used for:
  • EDC, Conceal carry.

by DAVID TYLER, Verified Owner from AL, United States Written on November 13, 2024
I bought a Hellcat Pro which in my case came with a Crimson trace red dot , Sad to say it did not survive the aiming process so i went with a Romeo Zero for the third time I have never had any problem with the Zero performs flawlessly and i recommend it . it performed on my S&W M&P9 2.0 full size and on my S&W Equalizer and now my Hellcat. Sig Sauer makes great equipment .

Cons:
  • havent come across any yet
Best Used for:
  • Springfield Hellcat
  • S&W M&P9 2.0
  • S&W Equalizer
