I had a Romeo 1 on my sig 320 it is about 6 years old. It stopped working I tried battery and called sig and customer service guy looked it up and said it was 6 years old and the warranty is 5 years and it’s probably I think he said the addmitter . So I said what do I need to do. He said you will have to buy a new one. It has not ran enough to run a battery dead but he said it only lasts about 5 years. Since the 320 will only take the Romeo 1 i ordered one from optics planet. Service was great shipping fast can’t say enough good things about Optics. Not so much about Sig.

I Have not mounted it yet, but it is going on a Sig P322. Should work great. Price was good but shipping was a little slow. Clear lenses and a nice red dot. Really can’t review cause I have not used it yet.

All of my pistols are Sig P320 X5 variants, mounted with Sig optics either 3 MOA or the current review of 6MOA red dot reflex sight. There are many reasons I enjoy the Sig Romeo 1 reflex sighting system: 1) the sight attaches directly to the X5 carry slide, 2) battery cover is convenient, 3) easy adjustability, 4) the sight is durable and reasonably easy to clean, 5) takes a beating without shutting off during high round count practice. My oldest Romeo 1 is still mounted and working as well as the newest. For the money, durability, and accuracy, I highly recommend the Romeo 1. As with a gun purchase, everything is subjective and what is comfortable in the hand and to the eye. Optics Planet's inventory, customer service and shipping were excellent, as usual.

I just replaced the original Romeo1 red dot sight (damaged in a drop) with the new Romeo1 1x30mm, 6 MOA red dot sight. First let me say that the Sig Sauer Romeo1 arrived very well packaged with a Lithium battery, User Manuel, lens cleaning cloth, two screws, and the appropriate tools to install on my handgun. I found the Romeo1 very easy to install on my Sig Sauer P229RX. I recommend using a Wheeler FAT torque wrench to install the placement screws at the correct pressure in foot pounds, however the Allen wrench provided by Sig Sauer with the Romeo1 red dot works just as well. The Romeo1 uses a 3V Lithium battery which is extremely easy to install. I would recommend keeping several fresh batteries for your Romeo1 in your gun bag. I used the Sightmark bore red laser - which I highly recommend - to zero in the Romeo1 electro-optic sight on my 9mm P229RX last night at my home. The red dot adjustment screws (windage up-down, left-right) appear to be stainless steel. I prefer theses metallic adjustment screws over the old adjustment screws which had a nitron black finish. When you adjusted the old nitron black screws on the Romeo1 tiny bits of the black surface coating would fleck off, giving my Sig P229 a less than pristine look. Never used a red dot on one of my pistols before, wasn’t to sure about the purchase Super happy with the Romeo 1, installation was a breeze just needs to have screws torqued to specs, I got the 6 moa witch is perfect for close to mid range not planning on shooting 100 yards with it. The brightness settings are very nice low settings looks like a 3moa. After installing on my X5 I took to the range for sight in and wow!!!! Seriously this is to easy, just need some practice pulling from holster since I’m used to iron sights and I’ll be whooping some butt in tournaments. 400 rounds and held zero. Super happy with everything the Romeo 1 has to offer.

Mounted it on a Sig P-320 X-5. It improved my shooting, do doubt. Great field of vision. Red dot easy to locate. It becomes better with practice. Recommend it highly. For Optics, OpticsPlanet is the place to go.

I mounted my Romeo1 on Glock 34 MOS that I use for practical shooting competitions. I have the 6 MOA dot. (I previously had the 3 MOA dot, but prefer the bigger image as it helps me with target acquisition. At pistol distances (25 yards or less), having a bigger image will not measurably hurt accuracy or keep me from getting A or C zone hits. I have probably 2,000+ rounds through mine in competition and a week-long pistol training class where it got some rugged use. It held zero throughout. The brightness settings were sufficient for full desert sunlight as well as night and low light shoots (using a handheld light could still see dot w/o any washout). Got my sight scratched up and banged around a bit and had no issues. Glass is really clear and everything functioned great. I also have the 3 MOA version mounted w/a spacer on a SCAR 17S (with a Leupold D-EVO for distance shots) and that Romeo1 held up for a week of shooting .308 168gr. HPBT and did not lose zero. It was great.

I did a lot of internet research for product / professional reviews and saw some early mixed opinions on the Romeo1 (mainly from people that did not own one, which baffles me). I can say first hand through a lot of use (not some "I just received it and opened the box and it looks great, but I haven't used or mounted it" review). Mounted to my 320x five bore sighted it in made a few adjustments. Adds next to no weight it is a light sight and it doesn't add to much bulk to the top. Optics planet had this sight at the lowest price I have seen.

I had two Romeo 1 dot sights, with 3 MOA dots, but, I'm a little color blind, and was having issues seeing the dot, in bright sunlight.
I'd heard, from fellow shooters, that the 6 MOA dot was really bright.
I can now see the dot, on sunny days.
The only thing that would make it better, would be a larger viewing area.
