ty's Review of SIG SAUER Romeo2 Reflex Red Dot Sights
The Romeo2 as an open emitter is not worth the $700 price tag. However if you want a closed (ish) emitter and a bigger window than a aimpoint acro than currently this is our only option. If you don't need a closed emitter than go with a trijicon you'll be much happier. I hear the deltapoints are good too but haven't used one. I purchased the dot only 3moa version and it has a ghosted second dot at the bottom of the lens at regular working brightness (bright enough to see the dot with a WML on, but not super bright in a dimly lit room), the sight is still useable but its very annoying as neither my HOLOSUN 509k or RMR's have this issue and they are a lot cheaper. Also the bit that came with the it broke before the 28lb torque wrench even slipped. I really wish companies like Sig wouldn't waste our money with filler junk like a crapy torque wrench set and jut make a better sight.
Pros:
- Closed Emitter
Cons:
- price
- Quality
- emitter reflections
Best Used for:
- rainy days
- muddy days
