Better than a radian
Written on Apr 02, 2023
The selector knob on the strike industries HEX is a very close match to a standard mil-spec style selector and it makes it a lot easier to actuate compared to the radian. The pyramid style knob grips the side of your thumb so much better than the flat boxy radian safety. I also like the 60* throw a lot.

Great scope
Written on Apr 02, 2023
I saw some mixed reviews on trijicon credo scopes on youtube but this particular model is awesome! The build quality is great, glass is super clear and the illumination and reticle are fantastic. It works great as a red dot at 1x but still keeps a good useable reticle at 8x. And its super reasonably priced for what you get.

Leatherman Bond 2.8in Multi-Tool
Its a Leatherman, the standard high quality multitool that others try to copy but continually fall short. If your on the market for a multitool get a leatherman or victorinox you wont regret it. I keep one of these in every car as its small, light and not too expensive.

Leatherman Surge 3.1in Multi-Tool
Its a Leatherman, the standard high quality multitool that others try to copy but continually fall short. If your on the market for a multitool get a leatherman or victorinox you wont regret it. I use the surge as my edc as it has a swappable saw blade that fits standard t-shank jigsaw blades, very handy.

Great scope

I like it a lot more than my vortex razor gen 2. It's like half the weight and all the little things like click sounds and feel, built in knob, parallax adjustment, eye relief, and reticle adjustment are really good. The only thing the razor gen 2 is better at it low light usability due to the 56mm lens.

Great light

Great light and awesome streamlight customer service. I upgraded to a icarus precision grip module and called streamlight customer service about purchasing the parts to convert my tlr-7 from sig to picatinny, they were super helpful and sent me the parts kit for free.

Fix It Sticks Compact Ratcheting Multi-Tool
The ratcheting sticks are great but the bits and bit bracket (plastic holder) suck. The bits are super cheap, worse than harbor freight and the bit bracket is super soft and flexible so the bits constantly fall out. My recommendation is to just buy the ratcheting sticks and buy some decent bits from wiha and a small zippered case, you'll be much happier.

Just get the ratcheting sticks.

I love the ratcheting fix-it-sticks they are very handy, but the fix-it bits are awful. Worse than harbor freight. I am constantly breaking them or stripping out the torx teeth. The zippered case is nice but the bits constantly fall out of the plastic bit holders. I also find the torn wrench unnecessary as its rarely used. The cleaning rod is ok but nothing special. All in all I wish I just bought the ratcheting sticks and some Wiha, Dewalt, Milwaukee, or even harbor freight bits, it would have been much cheaper and id be much happier.

SIG SAUER Romeo2 Reflex Red Dot Sights
The Romeo2 as an open emitter is not worth the $700 price tag. However if you want a closed (ish) emitter and a bigger window than a aimpoint acro than currently this is our only option. If you don't need a closed emitter than go with a trijicon you'll be much happier. I hear the deltapoints are good too but haven't used one. I purchased the dot only 3moa version and it has a ghosted second dot at the bottom of the lens at regular working brightness (bright enough to see the dot with a WML on, but not super bright in a dimly lit room), the sight is still useable but its very annoying as neither my HOLOSUN 509k or RMR's have this issue and they are a lot cheaper. Also the bit that came with the it broke before the 28lb torque wrench even slipped. I really wish companies like Sig wouldn't waste our money with filler junk like a crapy torque wrench set and jut make a better sight.

Its good when it works.

So the concept it great but the product needs some work. Optics planet is exchanging my unit as it just stopped working after a couple of days. Based on my and what seems like many others experiences the reliability of the product isn't great. The price might be worth it if mantis offered some sort of warranty but their website just states it offers a 45 day return policy if purchased through them, not great. When it does function it is pretty good, but not perfect. The laser module has enough play to move the laser off it's initial zero but not enough to really matter, just an annoyance. The trigger reset time is usable but not fast enough, you can easily outshoot it. All in all I would buy it again as there really isn't a great alternative and it makes dry firing so much easier and way more fun.
