This makes my P229 cool!
I decided to get an Sig P229 and I wanted to to get a slide to red dot. Optics Planet had a good deal on the slides. I put the optic slide on my 229 and it looks cool. The Romeo One works really well and turns the 229 into an optic handgun. It all works really good. The Romeo One was dialed in and only need a little bit of adjustment for me. It even came with an Sig red dot adjustment tool. Not only dose my P229 have an optic, but it looks cool.
My only complaint is I thought the slide was black. I purchased an Sig P229 Elite which is all black. I the photos if looks black. I assumed that sli...

It works for the P229R
Finally able to get a slide that's RDO compatible for my P229R. The Romeo1 Pro is a great RDO as well. Big window, easy to find the dot. Can't recommend this slide enough. Thanks, SIG!

Never going back!
I was hesitant. I have a holosun 507 on my Glock and I didn’t like it. I decided to go with this for my sig p229 and I love it. The glass is a littler bigger, it lines right up when you push out I couldn’t be happier. The reticle gets super bright, I run it at half because get so bright. Very satisfied.

Easiest way to add an optic to the P229
I was looking for ways to add an optic to my 229 Nitron, but with the LCI on the California compliant version, replacing the entire slide was the easiest way to add the optic. It’s my first Romeo optic, and I like the wide window and the dot looks clean, even to my LASIK eyes. No star burst effect (for me, at least). One suggestion is to do a bore sight zero before going to the range as it was way off from the factory. I forgot to do it and spent extra rounds to get it zeroed. It’s nice to have my original slide too, since it’s a quick swap to get back to a smaller profile. Very happy with the purchase.

I wanted to go optical on my P229 Legend
The slide on my P229 was not set up for an optic,and I did not want to do away with the really good iron sights,and I was not ready to purchase another 229,although I will at some time.
Delivery was as indicated,and I added a threaded barrel for a really nice unit.Still combining a laser ,optic sight, and of course the bullet,for a home defense tool.
Very satisfied.
