Same component as my Sig 516 patrol.
Same component as my SIG 516 patrol.
I have to write a 200 word review on an item I believe to be an original SIG OEM product.
It works as listed. The cost is halve of what other cool and trending selectors are being sold as better 0R made in the USA but sold on eBay as well.
I purchased this item here and it is what it is as listed.

I really liked this safety, Sig stopped making it that's a bummer. others work, oh well. Its seems that Midwest industries make a similar safety. MOst parts kits come with the single sided safety. Depends are who and where you obtain your parts..

Great Ambi Safety
This is an excellent ambi safety. My Sig came with one and I liked it. I bought some others for my other AR’s and I like them, but I started buying this one to replace them. Much cheaper than the other options and it has fit perfectly on FN’s, Ruger, Saint, Diamondback (Ar-10), and others. As easy as any other to install without damage to the lower. Just wish they were easier to find in stock.

Sig Sauer Ambi Safety
I got this to use on a 400/516 Lower Build. Worked Great. Was a little worried about the right side having a pin instead of screw, but after installing it looked good and was easy to do. Keeps Sig lowers original. I also ordered the Bolt Catch and Ambi Mag Drop.

Great Ambi Safety for any AR15
Works great on my Aero Precision AR15 as well as my Diamondback DB10 .308!!! I have one installed on both and I think it is a great uprgrade from a regular mil spec safety. Even if tou don't use the ambidextrous safety, it is much sturdier than most OEM safety levers and very comfortable to use.

Sig Sauer Safety, Ambi, Selector, Fire C - NICE!!!
Does work as expected, good all around finish. Opticsplanet provided good time and delivery. My Sigm400 works well with it. I will be taking it to the range for final evaluation and review of the safety selector. All of the parts were accounted for.
