This is an amazing rangefinder for the money. Its been with me on every single hunt for the past year. I use it daily for archery practice. Extremely accurate, durable, and the batteries have lasted for over a year without changing. The only complaint is that the digits do not illuminate, which can be annoying in low light conditions.

Easy to use and it works great. I have used it on three trips to the woods now. You have to be patient if your in thick brush because it will focus on tiny sticks instead of your intended target. Other than that it works great. I've used other more expensive range finders and this works just as well. Some people have complained that its too difficult to use but if you read the book that comes with it you'll be ok.

It is very intuitive and simple to operate. It works great on trees and targets. i haven't seen a deer with it yet. It's very light and compact, yet it feels very solidly built. It comes with a pouch and lanyard. Good, clear glass. A great little range finder for the money.
Pros:
- value
- Size & Weight
- Clarity & construction

Excellent product for a great price! I also own a Leopold rangefinder but it frequently won't range objects even close by! Very irritating when you need to know a distance. This Sign ranges almost everything and will keep giving distances as you hold the button and move from object to object. It's great!

I compared this model to some of its competitors. You can’t beat the price for the quality. It does what someone would need for archery hunting and does it well. It’s easily a $400 range finder for more than half the price.

Very good for the price and has angle calculations. It comes with a battery and a pouch. The only complaint is that I wish it came with an illuminated reticle. Great purchase, and Sig is a very reputable company!

I thought I'd lost my Leupold rangefinder, so I purchased the Sig Sauer Kilo850 as a replacement. It does everything I need it to do w/o a lot of hassle. View is clear and sharp. I was very surprised at the performance of the Kilo850 and would definitely buy it again.

I bought this range finder to replace an old Bushnell. This range finder is great! It ranged items easily. It is fast at ranging. It’s Small and compact. Easy to see during normal lighting and visibile at low lighting as well. The angle calculation is great and takes the pressure out if you are hunting from an elevated area. The menu set up process was very easy. In the box you will find manual, soft case for storage, and cord to tie on to the range finder.
Best Used for:
- Bow and up to 800 yard rifle.

The Sig Sauer Kilo850 is an excellent optic at a great price. I had no problem ranging deer and trees out to 450 meters. I also experimented with the Hyper Scan, Line of Sight (LOS), and Angle Modified Range (AMR) modes. Hyper scan works great but the manual states a typical battery (CR2) lasts for about 4000 scans and excessively using hyper scan mode, 4 scans per second, will readily drain the battery. The LOS mode does exactly as stated, line of sight to your target. Since I had no intention of recreational shooting beyond 700 meters, this feature wasn't important to me. The AMR mode was impressive. I used it to scan a range to the top of a major metal power pole to simulate ranging from a valley to a peak. I was quite surprised at the proper hold over range as opposed to the line of sight range values. Overall a great value and, in my opinion, a better unit than the Leopold RX1000 I had in Afghanistan. The ONLY reason I didn't give it 5 stars is because it uses a CR2 battery which is a little odd to come by. One is included in the box, but I would have preferred a CR123 battery to be compatible with the rest of my gear. Having said that, this would have slightly increased the case size of the unit which now easily fits in my shirt pocket. Hope this review helps.
Pros:
- value for $$
- Features, price, quality.
- size weight sharpness, handy
Best Used for:
- hunting
- Ranging in field and long range
