Instead of this mounted kid for romeo 1,why sig doesn't built with the same approach an sig sauer rail picatinny/weaver ,so we can install any optics or laser in the top and not a specific one, take notes whoever concerns this suggestion,thanks

Misadvertized

The mount is advertised as fitting a Glock 20 and a Sig Romeo 1. It does not. It does fit the Glock 17. Unfortunately, I need a mount for my Glock 20. Fortunately, my son has my old G17.
Pros:

Sig Romeo red dot mounting kit.

Bought this to mount an Sig Romeo on a Glock 41. Was easy to install. Fit perfect. Took it to the range and sighted it in. No issues stayed in place. Did not loosen up. Was the only was to mount the optic without Jerry rigging one of the oem Glock plates. Highly recommend this plate for correct mounting of a Sig optic on a Glock MOS pistol.

Best Used for:
  • Mounting a red dot on a MOS pistol.

Great mounting kit

Romeo 1 sits flat and flush with slide of p320. East instal and feels secure and dependable. Can’t wait to send lead down range with it. Just need a punch and hammer to knock the rear sights out of dovetail, and the hard work is done. Would absolutely recommend.

Great option for p320

I received this today installed in about 5 minutes. I didn’t snug the set screws because I’m waiting for my wheeler torque screwdriver to come in the mail. But it looks pretty bad I just hope that it holds zero .

Red Dot mounting kit

Mounting kit delivered as scheduled. Rear sight removed and mounting kit fit perfectly in its place. Mounting kit material strong and allowed Romeo 1 Red Dot sight to attach correctly. Very satisfied with mount and would recommend.

disappointed

I was so hoping this would be the fix to my problem of wanting to mount my Romeo on my P320. First off it has no instructions so I had to search YouTube for 30 min to find a video on hints how to install. Second it makes the optic sit way to far back on the slide and takes your rear iron sight completely off. It doesn’t look good at all and don’t get me wrong I have 3 sig pistols and 2 Sig Tango scopes. I’m happy to say OpticsPlanet now sells the slide with it milled out now and I have mine ordered. What I wish sig would focus on these is Picatinny mounts and scope mounts.

Sig Sauer Romeo 1 Red Dot Mounting Kit

Gives a very low cost way to mount the sight. However, the installation is not as attractive or solid has having the slide milled. The principal role for this system would be situations where one had multiple handguns upon which one wanted to use the one sight and switch back and forth.

Broken scews

This came without instructions. I called Sig and the rep said use 30 inch-pounds to torque the screws. I followed directions and one screw broke in the slide. I am having to get a gunsmith to drill it out. Either the screws are defective or the instructions are. I contacted Sig and they sent me four new screws. I will be contacting Sig again when I get the bill but doubt they will help with that.
