Great Dot for USPSA
I received a sample dot to test out. I placed it on a 9mm infinty IMM open gun. This gun is known for eating dots for breakfast. For those not familiar this gun has a comp and two barrel ports. It blasts the lenses of optics and also because of the impulse tends to break boards.
So I received the R3 in May to place on the gun. I mounted it after a sectional USPSA match and began testing. First the dot is very bright for a 3 MOA dot. I was impressed when mounting it. I used my existing RTS2 mount on the gun. The overall height was the same. I began doing some practice indoors and out immediately. Indoors you can adjust it to see a good dot with no starburst. It's easy to put shots where you want. Outdoors you can turn the brightness a bit and it'll work in any lighting situation. A huge advantage I am finding is the bright 3 MOA dot allows for precise placement, but still allows for high speed shooting.
Great dot.
