Mike's Review of Sig Sauer Tango MSR LPVO 1-6x24mm, 30mm Tube, Rifle Scope, Second Focal Plane
Quick shipping, and even faster target acquisition with this ruggedly made scope. Very impressed with how it performs in my top 4 aspects I look for in a scope
The glass is professionally engineered and provides a crystal clear sight picture of both the reticle and the target.
It has a slim and lightweight design; but not too light that you know that if is made out of quality materials and can take some beating on.
Next is magnification. Some run to scope ls that boast the highest magnification numbers; but for hunting or competition shooting that usually lies within 20-300 yards; 1-6x is all you need for larger targets. The adjustment is smooth and clear to allow for quick throwing for those back and forth shots from near to further distances.
And lastly; the reticle itself. I’m a sucker for a subtle (doesn’t take up much sight room); thought-out reticle that goes beyond the basic bold crosshair design; and this is exactly that. As someone who’s firearms passion takes him usually a 100 yards and beyond, the elevation and windage subtensions provide aiming points to take the guesswork out of trying to maintain an imaginary hold, or re-zeroing for shots that are at a farther distances that one may have to do with a simple crosshair designed scope. By having an illuminated ring around the main zero point; the optic becomes more useful in lower to dimly lit situations where a non illuminated optic might struggle with due to the difficulty of distinguishing the reticle form darker surroundings and exact position on a target.
Overall; I am very pleased with my purchase, and I’m looking forward to putting it through its paces.
