Woodfuzzy's Review of Sig Sauer Tango MSR LPVO 1-6x24mm, 30mm Tube, Rifle Scope, Second Focal Plane
The quality of the glass and construction is over all very nice.
The zoom ring is nice but doesn't trigger the knob-gasim that higher end scopes do. But still, you're only able to shake a small stick at it.
Really like how the dust caps fold flat when open. Way better than dual flags waving proudly in the recoil.
The illuminated red dot, "for my application", will rarely be used. But is very crisp with enough brightness levels to appease any connoisseur of tiny red dots.
I kinda like the use of torque info printed on the scope & mount as a way to inform and add a little style. Useful styling is always a plus!
As far as function goes, well it's got an easy to see recital and holds 0 even under heave recoil. I tested it on my S&W 460. So with it's new forever home on my 22LR it'll outlast the rifle for sure!
Would I put it on a bigger rifle? "Personally" no. You absolutely can with no issues, but for me, as a long range hunter, I strive for one shot one kill and I need that extra magnification in my old age. LOL
And yes I would recommend it, might even get another one... gotta butter up the wife first. ;)
