Received the SIG scope about 2 weeks ago.Looks brand new.I bought a LaRue mount, but was pleasantly surprised that it already had SIG mounts attached.Scope is made in Japan and has great glass.Mounted it on a FAL.Goes on target quickly .Most of the scopes I have are 2nd focal plane and for a casual shooter they all work well. This scope being on the 1st focal plane is great, but I think on low power (2-3) it is a little hard to see..Overall I would buy this scope again, but this line from SIG appears to be discontinued as I tried to buy another.Comparing the glas to a nightforce SHV in the same power range the SIG is better.

There are only two new ones left... If you have an AR or a short to mid ranged rifle and are in need of scope with a tremendous value, this is it. Buy one before they are gone forever.
It has:
Some of if not the best non-US made glass I have EVER seen.. Japan knows how to make crystal clear glass.
VALUE until its gone.
FrontFocalPlane
ILLUM Reticle with 9 settings including IR
Zero Lock Elevatoion Turret with really great click/feel
Free SBT Custom Turret for any cal you can get data on
LIFETIME fully transferrable warranty and no receipt nessecary.
IT doesnt:
WEIGHT... almost 2lbs
No Parallax (not a problem if you get a consistent cheek weld)
Its no longer made so if it gets broken and deemed irreperable, you'll end up with a 1-6 or 3-18 Tango 6 (that sucks for what I needed it for as I already had a 1-6x)
Best Used for:
- short to medium range hunting

I was putting together an AR 15 that would serve as a DMR. As I don't shoot long distance very often, I didn't want to spend thousands and thousands on a scope that would rarely get used. This scope popped up on sale and it turned out to be a great buy. The adjustments knobs click cleanly and feels like much more expensive scope.. The reticle I have is the mil reticle, with the lines being just the perfect size.
The glass is surprisingly good, comparable to my Trijicons even though the scope cost substantially less. The reticle is daylight bright at the highest setting, but the lit reticle is not something I use often on a DMR.
Perhaps the only let down is that there is no parallax adjustment for this scope. Not sure why it doesn't have one, but so far, I don't think it has really affected the accuracy f the scope. My first day out and I was getting first round hits out to 750 yards with this scope which is close to the limit of a 223 round.
All in all a great buy.
Pros:
- Price
- quality of glass
- great adjustments knobs
Best Used for:
- hunting
- competition
- Tactical

Mounted this with an AD Recon on a SAM-R inspired build with a 20in BA DMR match barrel. For the money, this is a great buy. Just a note, the model I purchased on sale is NOT the new gen from Sig with the anti cant technology. But with the savings, I can get a nice scope level. SBT offer stil valid and has been approved by Sig. Scope tracks well, is easy to use, has super solid construction, and the illumination settings are cool yet not super useful to me as of yet. If you cant quite afford Nightforce, S&B, IOR, etc but want more bang for your buck, this does the trick. Especially in the sub 800yd range. Bonus. The color scheme matches my Stag A2 buttstock.
Pros:
- Great value. Clear glass. Nice reticle. Built like a tank.

Everything else is perfect:
The optics is VERY CLEAR
the build quality is top notch
The illumination switch is well designed.
The only flaw is: they opted to not have parallax adjustment on this scope.
Granted, this scope is on the "low power" side, and many low power scopes do indeed drop parallax adjustment because it is deemed to be "unnecessary". But at 10-12X, the lack of parallax is annoying.
Is this scope a good deal? Yes! When used in the 2-8x range, this scope is simply FANTASTIC!
Would I recommend this product? Yes! with only a little reservation. Due to the lack of parallax adjustment, 10-12x usability is impacted to a certain degree. Whether or not that is a big deal is entirely up to you, just know that in 2-8x it is truely fantastic!
Pros:
- fantastic optics
- Well-designed illumination switch

Fantastic! This is my second Tango6 I purchased from Optics Planet. They are made extremely durable and have crystal clear high quality glass. The controls are easy to use with positive clicks and won't get knocked off. The illumination has lots of brightness settings and is easily seen in bright daylight. Definitely worth the money! Optics Planet has the best prices, the service was great and I had my scope mounted by the end of the week.
