Reviews & Ratings for SIG SAUER Zulu5 10x42 Binocular, HD
— 5 reviews — Page 1
Bought these for my son for Christmas. We tried them out right away. The optics are great. Would have given 5 stars except the lens covers are terrible! The eyepiece covers are not deep enough, and come off very easily. The objective covers are just as bad. C'mon Sig, you have a good product, don't cheapen it!

These Zulu5 10x42 are an awesome addition to my carry bag for scouting and hunting...the worst part AND I mean the worst part are the worthless front lens covers. SIG WHY even include them?? I removed the front covers after 5 minutes of trying to keep them closed.
other than that these binoculars are awesome. very clear and bright sight picture.
Pros:
None
Cons:
front lens covers

The Zulu 5’s are a great pair of binoculars. They feel light in the hands and the armor texture gives really good grip. The diopter adjustments are very fluid and offers a really clear view. The included eye cups aren’t the greatest, which is my only complaint, but I never use those because they’re in an AGC bino harness.
Pros:
clear glass
Texture
Weight
Cons:
Included eye cups
Best Used for:
Bowhunting

Absolutely love these nocks. Clear sight, good in low light, great price. Would recommend getting a bino harness - the lens caps aren't great.
Do yourself a favor and check out these Sig Sauers! I've tried lots of different brands and these really stack up

Been wanting a smaller pair for range use and these are perfect for that. I had read a review from another buyer and his only complaint was that the lens caps weren't all that great and I'd have to agree with that. Not a deal breaker though. Actually nice lens caps, they just don't stay on well. A small strip of Velcro can remedy that problem. Excellent clarity. They bring in plenty of light in low light conditions. I focused in on a street sign approx. 600 yds. down the road and I could clearly read the sign. Comes in a nice padded case, a comfortable neck strap, lens cleaning cloth, and manual, and Sig's infinite warranty. A tripod adapter is available but doesn't come with it. I thought I read on Sig's website that it did but I may have misread it. Other than the lens cap issue, Very nice binoculars.
Pros:
Light Weight, excellent clarity, nice protective case
Cons:
Lens caps fit loose
loose fitting lens caps
Best Used for:
Range and hunting
