Most Helpful Positive Review Great scope for a great price
Completely as advertised. Haven’t shot to many rounds with it but it’s been solid so far. Canted red dot doesn’t come with the tool to adjust elevation and windage. But other than that both ate clear, accurate, and smooth.

Quality great. Set up with 45 degree red dot offset is useless as sold.

by Laird Poff, Verified Owner from NC, United States Written on July 30, 2026
Haven’t shot it mounted but quality looks great and optics good as far as I’m concerned. The compactness was what I was after to mount on Smith & Wesson’s or Rugers folding Carbines.
Biggest complaint is red dot set up. It is useless as sold. Red dot controls are on left side of Romeo and closest to scope. In This set up is impossible to turn on/off or adjust. I have very small hand and I can only manipulate controls with L shaped hex keys. My fingers can’t get between red dot and scope.

Options are: 1. Remove protective metal shield around red dot and small fingered people can probably manipulate. Here you lose the strong protection around the optic. But the plastic lens cover can then be used. The plastic lens cover can’t be used with the metal sleeve anyways. 2. Throw away the 45 degree offset and find a top mount sight base for red dot. (Available on Amazon.)

Not much user forethought was put into this set up by Sig. It is not something you’d expect from a company of this caliber.

I could have save more money by buying the scope separately and setting up my own red dot optics that were user friendly.

I’m kinda on edge about saying I’d recommend. Buyer just has to be aware of shortcomings.

Notso hotso

The glass is not good. I took a holosight with 3x magnifier off my gun and put this on and I was immediately disappointed. The holosight / magnifier combo is low magnification, but the glass quality is excellent. This Sig sight has passable magnification (would be interested to see if it's actually 6x), but the poor glass quality lends to worse performance than other optics with lower magnification. Further, after shooting with it, I'm convinced 6x is not optimal for a good, accurized 5.56 platform with a longer barrel and good ammo. It definitely wouldn't be good for a 6mm or larger AR platform, with increased long range capability. If I could go back and change, I would probably go with an upper magnification between 8 and 12. The red dot sight is ok, but the zeroing instructions are not very good. It is difficult to zero on the offset mount. That's fairly minor. But, there is a big problem with the sight / mount... I cannot turn the red dot on, turn it off, or change the intensity with my fingers - the buttons are right up against the main optic housing and the only way to get to them is to use an allen wrench or similar slim tool. This is a HUGE operational shortcoming. I would not buy it again or recommend it to others.
Pros:
  • combo magnified sight and red dot capability
Cons:
  • Bad glass
  • can't reach red dot buttons with fingers

Solid optic

Very impressed with this optic. Its a great lpvo. Solid holds and zeroing was easy and basically to park directly out of the box. Would recommend

great scope for the price

Love everything about the scope only issue I would say is you need some sort of tool to adjust brightness or turn on the red dot because the buttons are right up against the scope on the left side but other than that everything is perfect.

Enjoying this so far

by Timbo, Verified Owner from MA, United States Written on February 18, 2026
Just got this out and sighted in over the weekend. What a blast. I mounted too far forward at first on an AR platform and had to make some adjustments. I was afraid of ejecting rounds hitting the offset and causing jams. went through 300 rounds after moving the optic back and it was not an issue. zerod at 100 and then took it out to 200 yards no problem. Zerod the red dot at 25 and had some fun. Optic planet got this out the door in a reasonable amount of time and its a nice compromise to spending 2k for the tango 6 FFP. Im a weekend shooter afterall.

Great combo LPVO red dot without breaking the bank

by KLM, Verified Owner from TN, United States Written on February 15, 2026
Both optics are excellent, and with the included mounts, the price is unbeatable. The only reason I didn't give the full 5-star treatment was that the red dot brightness controls are difficult to manipulate so close to the LPVO body. LPVO glass and reticle clarity are extremely impressive for the price. I will probably put the same set up on another rifle soon.
Pros:
  • Value & Quality
Cons:
  • red dot adjustment
Best Used for:
  • Close ,mid and intermediate ranges.

Very Good but I suspect there's better options.

by BearonN, Verified Owner from PA, United States Written on January 7, 2026
When I saw this package deal back in December I jumped on it because, although I had always toyed with the idea of a setup like this for my AR, it's not something I pursued with any vigor. So, with opportunity knocking, I took the plunge.
Let me first say that the scope itself, the dot sight, and the mount are all good quality and likely very durable. I have no issues with those individually. And, I could have left it in the exact configuration it was in as delivered and been pretty darn happy! But, it didn't seem ideal to me and so I did some tinkering by moving the dot sight forward in hopes that I could better access the sight's controls. As it was originally, I could not access the controls with my finger at all and, the dot sight was in a rather precarious position near the ejection port when mounted to the correct eye relief on my AR. Now at least, I can access it an emergency with a finger, although I normally use a small tool of some sort to make it easier, and the dot sight is well clear of the ejection port. Having never really researched this type of setup before, it seems likely that there must be something a bit more efficient in this regard. Perhaps a bit longer mount would be helpful, for example.
Also, when I started looking at the various components on different websites, as well as this one, this package deal seemed like less of a bargain (though a bargain still) than I originally thought. I allowed my eagerness to get the best of me.
