Most Helpful Negative Review Sig Sauer, what is this supposed to be?
Recently, I hastily declared the RRA Ultra the worst trigger I have ever had. I apologize to RRA and hereby declare this $140 contraption to be the worst trigger ever made! The Sig Duo is not a 2-stage trigger by any stretch of the imagination. The initial pull is nothing but creep, then develops into heavier pressure. You may wonder where the wall is throughout the pull, and you will never feel it or find it! From the get-go, it's just fluctuating creep to the break. I shot an actual MCX and bought this trigger because of how impressive that weapon was. This CANNOT be the same trigger ...

my first review was a little hasty...

I guess my 3 star review yesterday was a little hasty. After spending a little more time with them than just a couple pulls after installing, all 3 triggers are off. The first trigger i mentioned in my orginal review is the closest to a match duo, but there is some noticable creep in the second stage before a simi rolling break. The second trigger i mentioned in my orginal review is as bad as i orginally described. It's more milspec than not. The last trigger i mentioned in the orginal review is kind of like the first trigger, but the first stage is a little shorter and the second stage has more creep before a slow rolling break.

I contacted sig this evening. Hopefully I'll hear back from them Tuesday, after the holiday.

I'm not saying to write the match duo off completely. They're an amazing trigger when they're "in spec". I think this was just a bad batch that got through QC. And the the fact that not one of the 3 i just got feels the same as one of the others. That tells me that it's almost definitely a qc issue and not that sig just changed the match duo.

And i was going to just edit my first review, but that's not possible. So i felt like i had to make a second review because that orginal review isn't totally accurate. I've learned my lesson about giving a review too fast.

some got through qc. it'll be a gamble i guess...

I know the match duo very well. I love this trigger. The one that came in my rattler sold me on them and I've been putting them in most of my other AR platforms. I think they're better than the geissele 2 stage triggers (and i do have a few geissele's still). Much much much shorter take up, very nice crisp 4ish lb break, strong reset. I think it's the best "combat" trigger on the market. Again, i know this trigger very well, and what it's suppose to be. I bought 3 when OP got them in stock again the other day. The day before they arrived i saw the one star review posted saying that it felt like a regular milspec single stage trigger. I figured either the guy didn't know much about triggers or these weren't actually match duo triggers we were getting. Well, when i installed the first of the three it felt exactly like it's suppose to. I immediately wrote the 1 star review off as just not knowing much about triggers. Then i installed the second of three and i found out what he was talking about. There is actually a wall, but you have to try very hard to find it. The slight wall hits at about 0.25mm of the pull and it's very easy to skip right past. Then it really is like a very smooth mil spec trigger. A long smooth creep before it finally breaks at about 4.5lbs. Very very very disappointed. Especially since OP is now sold out and i can't get a replacement. At this point it was a 50/50 chance at the third trigger being good or bad. Luckily, it was good. Ot feels like every other...
