I'm always a bit skeptical about low price optics. Whether they're scopes, dot sights, or binoculars, the benefits to high quality (i.e. expensive) glass is apparent. However, when you run these in either "scan" or "target" mode, the stability significantly outweighs optical clarity.

"Target" mode in particular was a revelation. It allowed me to discern details at a distance that I couldn't with regular binoculars. [I should note that all my testing was done in daylight.]
