Most Helpful Positive Review Clear circle dot
This is my favorite new red dot. Has a similar circle dot reticle As a Eotech but I like the clarity and crisp outline better. The field of view is not as large as the EO Tech but overall it was a very solid red dot with a price. Easy secure installation. Highly recommend at this price point.Ordered 4 X sig magnifier and will report back using the combination together

Going to buy another one.came in nice boxing almost dead on out of box. just had to adjust it up a little has held zero so far for the price you can't beat it. Great battery life not very big but I like the smaller red dots I will be getting another for my mini 30 soon. Great brightness levels

Top gun optic

by ASK, Verified Owner from FL, United States Written on June 8, 2017
This was the first sig sauer red dot and I absolutely love it. The class is crystal clear with the circle and Dot reticle very crisp and sharp. Have several of Eotech's that have the same configuration but I think the sig. optic is crisper. It locks on upper rail easily and appears very robust. I've ordered the sig magnifier so I'll have to check back with you after abuse them both together. The Romeo 4B is cheaper than eotech this point I prefer it. Cost
Pros:
  • cost
Cons:
  • field of view

Is SIG ya cant go wrong

by gmako, from PA, United States Written on May 25, 2017
Ended up being confused when I ordered. Description states the options for all versions including the 4C. 4B is just dot and 4C is circle dot. Customer service was awesome in letting me return for the 4C.
Now i have 3 of these. one on an MPX and one on each AR. Battery life is awesome.

Good product

Like it a lot especially the circle dot set up. Price is reasonable. Field of you not quite like a EoTech what is still a Adequate. Built very strong, comes with two mounts with the elevated mount allowing complete cowitness with iron sites. Very solid.

Sig Sauer Romeo 4B

by Rocky, from FL, United States Written on April 23, 2017
Great sight. Can do dot and circle/dot. Comes with the mount for co-witnessing. It's small and lightweight. Bought it to replace the EOTech on my M4 setup and it has answered the call. Can't ask for more.

Love this site

by Jim, from NV, United States Written on April 11, 2017
The best of both worlds. Used the dot for fixed position at targets up to 400 yds. on my Sig Sauer M400. Then used the dot/circle for CQB drills and loved it. Put the circle on the torso and you are in the kill zone.
The brightness adjustment is perfect for any conditions. I live in the desert southwest and can set the sight for bright daylight. At home I have it dimmed for inside the house defense, I can see the sight perfectly and the low contrast allows for a easily acquired sight picture. And I love the motion activated power.
As soon as the ATF releases my Daniel Defense SBR, I will install one of these.

Does Not Function

by Terry, from MD, United States Written on March 13, 2017
I have bought two of these Sig Sauer Circle dot sights and both were defective right out of the box. The first one did not turn on the center dot, just the outer ring. I called Sig and they assured me that was very unusual and the sights worked fine. I shipped it back to Optics Planet and exchanged it for another of the exact same model - the Romeo 4B. The new one just arrived and it does not work at all, nothing turns on. No dot, no circle, no reticle at all. I read the instructions carefully and tried two different batteries. I called Sig and got the same story. I am shipping this one back to Optics Planet for a refund. Very disappointed in the lack of quality control from Sig. Neither one of these sights should have left the factory.

Romeo 4B Red Dot

by Bill, from FL, United States Written on March 2, 2017
I own several Sig Sauer red dots from Romeo3 thru Romeo7 and this is my favorite. I have several 4Bs on AR pistols and really like the option of either a dot or ring and the motion activation is an awesome feature for a night stand weapon. The quick connect mount is very stable and does not allow it to be loosened accidentally. Sig Sauer has a real winner with the ROMEO4!
Pros:
  • motion activated, quick realease mount, price, small size, reasonable price
Cons:
  • NONE !

Great Optic for Fair Price

by ShootinMedic, Verified Owner from TN, United States Written on December 11, 2016
This is a great little optic. Easy install and ease of use. It sits at the perfect height on my MPX to co-witness with the folding sights. It's just another very good product from Sig Sauer. I've had no issues with it becoming loose. I am using it on a MPX in 9mm but I have the same model on my MCX in 5.56.
