Won't fit in chamber / high battery usage - Sighting System Instruments Sight Right Bullet Laser Bore Sighter 9mm

I purchased a Sight Right Bullet Laser Bore Sighter in 9mm for use in calibrating the laser sights for both my Sig Sauer 9mm and my daughter's Ruger LC9. This bore sighter did not fit in either chamber. When loaded into the chambers, neither slide would close. The full name of a 9mm Luger is 9x19 Luger, meaning that the case is 19mm long. When I measured the bore sighter, it measured 21mm from the head to the point that it necked down. This extra 2mm is why it would not fit, i.e., bad machining/quality control.

Secondly, the batteries that came with the unit only lasted about 5 minutes before the light output got so dim as to be useless. I installed new batteries with the same result. Obviously there is high power drain as I have never had to replace the batteries in any of my other 5 laser bore sighters.

Because of this experience, I will never even consider purchasing any product from Sight Right.
