Bore Sight - New 9mm pistols
I only gave this 4 stars, why, I have yet to actually shoot the pistols to determine how close the bore sight actually places my group of shots. Nothing against the laser, I simply have not been able to get out and test the results.
I will say, very easy, unscrew the back of the sight, plop the ba...

Won't fit in chamber / High battery usage
I purchased a Sight Right Bullet Laser Bore Sighter in 9mm for use in calibrating the laser sights for both my Sig Sauer 9mm and my daughter's Ruger LC9. This bore sighter did not fit in either chamber. When loaded into the chambers, neither slide would close. The full name of a 9mm Luger is 9x19...

Installed batteries and worked for about 2 minutes before it got so dim. Installed new batteries and same result. This thing is junk. Do not buy. I should of read the reviews first like i usually do.

Well constructed
Seems to be well made and having a on/off switch is great. Would have given it 5 stars, but it arrived with old batteries that only lasted 5 min.
Pros:
- good construction
Cons:
- bad batteries

Does not operate and zero product support
I received the product. Immediately put the included batteries in and attempted to use. Product worked fine for the first attempt at zeroing. My newly installed sights were a little off so I removed my slide, adjusted sights. Placed the laser back into the gun and it no longer worked. The laser was far too dim to see and when turned off it would turn bright for a moment and then go dim again. Called optics planet for a return and was immediately told to contact the manufacturer, zero help. I am currently at 42 minutes on hold with the manufacturer. Going to attempt second contact with optics planet regarding return.

The right sight
You need this to ensure that when you take the responsibility of shooting a firearm, you know where the bullet is going. Fits my Smith&Wesson M&P 2.0 9mm and gets me on target. Best price on the Internet.

Short battery life
I received the bore sight in a timely manner. It fits the 9mm perfectly and has a precise fit to the chamber. It showed that my internal laser was off by a quarter of an inch. I felt that this was accurate. The only downside is that it is hard on batteries. I had to replace them after sighting only two weapons.

did not work right out of the box.
Never did function. Something wrong with the switch. I can short the battery to the case and turn the laser on but when I install the cap no laser. Don’t know how I’m supposed to bore site if it won’t light in the bore. How do I return this item.

U GET WHAT YOU PAY FOR
I HAD HIGH EXPECTATIONS OF THIS 9MM DEVICE...NO.1...IT WORKS WHEN IT WANTS TO. THE LITTLE 'KEY' AND PLACTIC WEDGE TO PREVENT BATTERIES TOUCHING IS A JOKE. HARDLY RELIABLE FOR A CONSTANT LASER BEAM.
BASICALLY THE WHOLE SHEBANG 'AIN'T WORTH IT.
BASICALLY THE WHOLE SHEBANG 'AIN'T WORTH IT.
Pros:

Cons:
- IRRADIC
- NO CONSTANT BEAM
Best Used for:
- fishing weight

Bore Sighter work in all 9mm autos?
Purchased laser bore sighter to sight in Crimson Trace laser on S&W Shield. Found that slide will not close all the way on the Shield or my S&W 659 with sighting system in them. The barrel of the Shield is not horizontal when slide is open, making sighting in with CT laser pretty hard when partially closed. But the bore sighter easily went into my Beretta. Go Figure. Also, supplied batteries died with less than 15 minutes use.
