Most Helpful Positive Review Best deal going in spotting scopes
This is a steal of a deal right here. Looked through many spotting scopes in person then decided to take a chance on this one after reading a very positive review on the long range hunting forum. It was spoken highly about and it sure did live up to my expectations. I'd put this against any sub-$400...

Most Helpful Negative Review Spotting Scope ?
This was my first purchase of a spotting scope and wasn't sure what to expect. I had not done a lot of reading on these and it seems at the longer magnification 45x, the scope looses clarity and had the mirage effect. I returned it for exchange and upgraded to a Redfield 20-60X80. I will review wh...

Haven't taken to range. Just tested at home and for distances checked from 100 to 300 yards appears adequate. Would recommend. Will update this review later. ....?...............?................?......

Sightmark 15-45x60 spotting scope

by Cajuntim, Verified Owner from LA, United States Written on January 18, 2018
This spotting scope is clear and can zoom in target at 100 yds to easily see the bullet holes. Only rated a 4 because the tripod stand is not up to par with the scope. I put it on my camera tripod and it is so much better. Used at Hunting camp to verify accuracy on all rifles before the deer season started. Great product for the price.
Pros:
  • Nice clarity
Cons:
  • weak tripod
Best Used for:
  • Scoping in rifle

wishes exceeded

I have had trouble focusing binoculars for many years. Forced to use the one-eye technique. I happened on to this spotting scope at a local outdoor sport retailer. Seemed to be what I was looking for -wildlife photo spotting - but the display restricted testing. Took a chance. BINGO! Everything and more than what I had hoped! Affordable, extremely light, powerful range, user friendly adjustments. Even at 45+ I can view objects without a tripod (and I have shaky hands). The only "wish it had" - an adapter mount for cameras other than Smartphones. Working on jury rigging one for my point-and-shoot...

  • Everything
Cons:
  • None

  • Wildlife photography

Spotting Scope

by Joe, from IL, United States Written on May 26, 2017
Was offered at a excellent price point, well packed and presented in its own carrying box with optional soft carry bag. Easy to assemble and provides excellent spotting capability. I use it primarily for the range spotting up to 600 mts. A good everyday spotting scope for most situations, clear and sharp, less so at max magnification which is to be expected at this price point. Would recommend it without hesitation.

Bargain quality

by William Simmons, Verified Owner from AL, United States Written on April 21, 2017
Pleased with quality and works great at my gun range for 100 yard targets.
With my eyes that is the range I need. Can see my AK, AR and 9mm carbine rounds. Can not see spending 100's of dollars for higher priced scopes . Would rather buy ammo and shoot more.
Highly recommended!

I have never purchased a spotting scope before , I always used binoculars. The price was so good that I just had to try it. It works fantastic!!. My gun club range officer could not believe what I got for what I paid! It even came with a great hard case . Cant say enough about the great product and great deal.

Good spotting scope for the money

by Azpat, from AZ, United States Written on January 11, 2017
I like it. I use it for the range and hunting. Very light weight, easy to carry. Not the best one out there, but a good everyday spotting scope for most situations. Have used it three times already. Scope is quite clear and sharp, less so at max magnification which is to be expected at this price point. Good enough for me.

Spotting scope

by SteveT, from FL, United States Written on November 11, 2016
I bought the scope for the range because we shoot a lot of 22 and we shooting at 50 and 100 yards in the scope is absolutely fabulous. But after using the scope outside I noticed that at approximately 200 yards I could see the keyhole on my neighbors lock which truly impressed me and considering that there was cops out there costing $1000 in more for the $99 I spent for the scope I believe it's money well spent not to mention it comes in a great case in the nice carrying case for the range and even the small tripod works out very well I would definitely recommend this for anybody wants a shooting range and doesn't want to spend a Tonna money I don't see why you would need a scope any better than this other end if you going to do five 600 yards spotting

Sightmark 15 - 45x60SE Spotting Scope

by Tony, Verified Owner from FL, United States Written on October 1, 2016
This being my first ever purchase of a spotting scope, I'm giving it 5 stars because it met my needs. My primary use is at the range zeroing in some new guns and optics purchased this year, Having researched various spotting scopes, and, seeing the wide price range associated with them, I decided on this one. The great price point and customer reviews convinced me to give it a chance and I'm glad I did. It's exactly what I needed, and, it saved me hundreds of dollars the other brands were asking. It all boils down to your specific needs/use of a spotting scope, so, if you're looking for a great price, clarity, light weight, ease of setup and use at the range, then give this scope serious consideration.
