It’s pretty light weight for it being metal or aluminum and the glass is super clear as well

I wanted to like Sightmark's small reflex sights as I have a larger one I put on a .22 rifle and have been quite happy with. Unfortunately, despite my best hopes, they're junk. My first one was a gift purchased from the Ft Campbell PX. I was happy with how easily it mounted to my S&W m22s pistol's rail. The problem was immediate however. No matter how I tried the sight couldn't be adjusted to match the point of aim with the point of impact. The elevation adjustment worked fine but the windage adjustment only moved the point of impact between 12" to 6" right of the point of aim. Completely useless. Foolishly I thought I had just gotten a bad one and bought this replacement from the OpticsPlanet websight. The price was good and initially it seemed to work just fine. I was able to easily sight in the pistol and had an enjoyable couple of hours exercising the S&W (great gun BTW) with its new optical sight. The problem came when I pulled the pistol out of the safe a couple of weeks later to show my sons how well it was shooting. The sight wouldn't turn on at all. I assumed I had left the sight on and run down the battery. A quick run to the store to get a couple of spare batteries should have made it work again I thought. Nope! Dead as a doornail no matter what battery went in it. I tried cleaning contacts and making sure they were contacting the battery. Nope, Still dead. This seems to be an airsoft red dot. No where do they warn you that it should not be mounted to a simulated blowback or an actual firearm. Both red dot lens and sight glass (Glued in!) disappeared after only a few magazines. Battery died quickly, too. Probably best to remove the battery when it's not in use since it was dead after 4 months. I gave it two stars because it would actually be a good red dot for an airsoft gun.

I bought this a year for one of my quick access pistols.

The good-light weight metal frame.
Decent lens and quick acquisition on dot.
Good dot levels, they don't jump from low to super bright, has a good graduation to desired levels.
Holds zero.

The bad-
Battery drains even when turned off.

I have this sitting in a quick access spot. I know not being a wake and shake I need to turn it on if needed, but I have had to replace the battery 3 times even with it off. This is not good for an immediate home defense situation.

I HAD A SMALL PROBLEM WITH MY SIGHT MARK SIGHT AND IT WAS HANDLED QUICK, THE SIGHT WAS REPLACED AND WORKING PERFECT THE WAY IT SHOULD. CUSTMER SERVICE WAS AMAZING.I WOULD RECCOMEND OPTIC PLANET ANY DAY, ANY WHERE.BIG THUMBS UP.

Red dot is very off the screen. Tilt it downward to see the dot. Adjusted the elevation but it does move at all. Sent message to the company but no response from them. It is a total waste of money. I am hoping that they can send me a replacement or refund me of their defective product.

Had gotten the sight originally for my g3c optic ready slide, did not work out. Got it installed on my slide, laser bore sighted it, took to range and ran a few shots thru it. Then I would notice it would shut off constantly, so I replaced the battery having a spare in my range bag, ran more rounds thru it and kept shutting off... not sure what issue is maybe couldn't handle the recoil of the g3c. Sight works mounted on AR pistol and works, stays on and doesn't shut off on ARs or shotguns also tried on my mossberg and worked. Maybe slide cycling of g3c was too much..

This red dot has definitely exceeded my expectations for the price. Not too bulky, clear and big field of view and yet, you can still see the red dot on a sunny day. So far, the zero has held and could not be more happy.

It works great. Holds Zero perfectly. No problems and no issues. Very satisfied with the product and the price and the service. It does exactly what it says. It was easy to instal and to zero in. Love it.

Has great package lots of accessories feels strong and heavy. The glass is coated but nothing like pictures. I installed using and aftermarket adapter plate then used a bore sight to zero in. Next day I ran some rounds using the new sight and it was dead accurate. It was a sunny day 3 in the afternoon I had no problem seeing the red dot but the dot could be bigger. Cross hairs would have been the ticket if it had them. Overall I am please and happy with my purchase.
