these mounts measure 1.67" they left .955" under Leopold VX6 with 52mm objective. There was no such thing as cheek weld, even the medium height rings would leave almost a half inch between scope and barrel. With a new offering such as VX6 it takes some time for offerings to come to market. Ended up with vortex 34mm .92" height rings that left .2" between scope and barrel.
