Lot's of folks pay for 5X and higher magnification. Reality is if your reflex is Zeroed 25 Yards, anything over 3X gets a bit blurry while 3X gets you right on the mark easily up to 125 Yards. Shooting at ranges over 100 yards is commonly done with a scope anyway not a reflex and magnifier.
Pros:
- Great Clarity
- positive slide and snapdown
Best Used for:
- targets from 75 to 125 Yards

This optic is very clear and works as good as you could expect it to. Feels and looks sturdy. The QD mount is exceptional and is adjustable as well. Besides the windage and elevation adjustment to center you dot/irons there is a focus adjustment by turning the eye ring either direction. I didn’t realize this at first but once adjusted it really makes all the difference. It doesn’t mention the focus in the manual so putting that out there for those it may help. I’ve read reviews that claim there is a fish eye effect, adjust your focus ring. I’ve also read the QD clamp stops working. No it doesn’t. When off the gun it can turn to tighten or loosen, its adjustable. Now for the flip to side. That also works great. Plenty of room for flip up sights to be folded under this magnifier, then flip to side and flip up irons. Very easy to flip over and put back in place. I can’t believe how cheap the price is and I highly recommend it.

The Sightmark 3X Slide to side magnifier made a great addition to my Trijicon red dot, and tired old eyes. Will be a great help at medium distance shots and close quarters battle with hogs. And Heck yeah i’d recommend it but it’ll sell itself once anyone else sees it on my custom built AR. ... just need to add lens protectors for storage and travel... Thanx

I put this on my ar upper .450 Bush. Unfortunately the kick and eye relief make it a not so good combo. But I highly recommend it for anything with less recoil. It has clear vision. Its snaps in and out of position easy and when in position, is very firm.
Pros:
- Clear vision, snaps easy, qd
Best Used for:
- Ar15s and other guns with low recoil

If you want the EOtech set their is a cheaper less expensive route and your looking at it. This magnifier teamed up with many of its Sightmark reflex sights work just as well. I love my set up on my Delton Sport AR15. If you don't want to spend a lot of money but want the same results this product is the perfect solution.

Not very clear. Does not line up with the sightmark tactical red dot even though they are the same brand. The 3x sits a good 1/8 inch higher than the red dot scope. I wish I would have spent a little more money for a better product

I have been a fan of sightmark optics ever since I purchased a AR with one included. There is no need to pay more for comparable products. The optic is fantastic. The quick release is wonderful and the option to mve to the side was awesome just what I was looking for. I will say it would have helped to know that the quick release is not interchangable from one side to the other. This does poss an issue with interfering with gear so make sure its tight.
Bottom line its rugged clear and perfect for close qtr I use the sightmarkbred dot with this optic and dead on up and beyond 300yrds. A value and not and not a poir mans optic. A true value for any rail system. I have switched this optic from ar to shot gun platforms with no problems.
Great optic

If you're on the fence about if you should get this or not because money is an issue and it's still pushing $100...get it, for the money this is amazing. It lines up perfect with other sightmark sights(obviously) but also others(granted I've only tested it with sightmark and burris). When in the "active" position it's solid and clear, when slid to the side people have complained it has some wiggle...they are right; HOWEVER I've found that it's only noticeable if you physically wiggle it with your hand or if your are running, but neither affect how solid it is in an active position. I don't know if I would go into combat with it because of the wiggle when running, but for civilian use it's perfect. Like I said, if you are on the fence, get it you won't regret it; I didn't.
Pros:
- High quality
- well priced
- clearity
- Solidly constructed
Cons:
- some wiggle in the off position

Very clear optic 3x is not much but just right for what I am after. Wish the slide to side locked in more solid when not in use. For a fraction of the price of higher class optics I have been very pleased. 500 rounds so far.
Cons:
- loose when flipped to side

Great addition to any red dot optic. Mounting is very easy and with the addition of some oil the slide-to-side function worked great. For what this item offers the price is great. Takes up a good amount of real estate on the rail.
