Works just as it should. Save money on ammo. And take your time.No need to worry about the battery wearing down.Its rechargable with it's own charging dock. Just close the bolt and it automatically turn on.

Failed to function of the box
Ordered a SightMark Accudot .243/.308, 7.62x54, Red Laser Boresight, Brass, SM39051. I charged it, charger showed green. However, the laser never worked. Tried placing it in my .308 caliber weapon without any effect. Attempted to use it on several different .308 platforms, all with the same result.
Doesn't Work
I should have read the reviews. This product does not work. Charger never turned green. I thought it had to be charged, so i put it in my AR 10, and nothing, it doesn't work. Would not recommend. Optics Planet should remove this product and find a different manufacturer or replacement product. Don't waste your time and money.

Gave this 1 star because I had to.
This did not work right out of the package. I tried it in two different rifles and nothing happened. Waste of money. Very disappointed. What more can I say about a piece of junk. Junk is junk. I wouldn’t recommend this to anyone.

did not operate
Seemed like good quality material and workmanship and was excited to be able to use in both my 308 and 243.
Fully charged and went to range to site in my .308 and .243, followed instructions, and after rifle bolts were closed the unit did not project the red laser.
Am returning to Opticsplanet, which was easy, for store credit.

2nd one not working either
I ordered this for my .308s (multiple), the first one the light came on for maybe 10 seconds and faded out rapidly. So thankful I ordered from Optics Planet. They quickly got me a second one out! Unfortunately Sightmark dropped the ball again. This new one lit up once for about a second and nothing else. Time for another return. Thinking store credit.

Did not work from the moment I took it out of the box.
I unpacked the Accuudot Laser Boresight SM39051 for a .308 as soon as it arrived. I figured I needed to charge the boresight so I placed it in the included charger. The light continued to flash red no matter how I placed the boresight in the charger. I left the boresight in the charger for about 36 hours hoping it would be charging. It never did. I attempted to contact SightMark to see if they could offer any help. After a bunch of emails that were of no help they told me I would need to request a return authorization and I would know if it was approved in a week or so. Thank goodness I purchased from Optics Planet.
