This is a rechargeable unit. Total piece of junk, did not work at all. Could not reach Optics Planet about defective product so I was forced to eat the loss. I have several of the replaceable battery units that work fine.
Same issue as everyone else
It only worked for about 5 minutes. It will not turn on now, and it won't charge. I'm trying to do a warranty claim right now. This is an overpriced piece of garbage. DO NOT BUY THIS PRODUCT OR YOU WILL REGRET IT!!!!

Also not working
I am also having zero luck using this with my XD Mod2 SC 9MM. I had new sights installed on my edc and I was hoping this tool would help me dial-in those sights. It charged quickly enough in its nifty little USB charger, but even after watching several YouTube reviews on this product, I have not been able to activate the laser in or out of the chamber. Disappointing, considering the price.

Cons:
- Laser doesn't activate.
Best Used for:
- IDK yet.

Doesn’t work
Doesn’t work in HK, BERETTA 92FS, HELLCAT, GLOCK19, GLOCK17,..........pistols OMG.
And the first charge takes 12 hours to fully charge.
I charged it up and tried to get it to work. it doesn’t sit tight enough in the chamber to electrically contact the laser to activate it
Taking something metal you can set it on the lasers case and it turns on. otherwise you never turn it on in chamber.

Doesn’t work in HK pistols
Bought this to rough zero my Holosun 508 I just had machined and mounted to my VP9 slide. Once I received this product, I charged it up and tried to get it to work. Found it wouldn’t work in my VP9, so I tried it in my P30SK, same issue. By taking something metal you can set it on the lasers case and it turns on? Upon inspection found that it doesn’t sit tight enough in the chamber to electrically contact the laser to activate it. Kinda pissed cuz by the time it was charged up and able to use the packaging was long gone so I’m stuck with it now.
