Don't Sue Me, But I Mounted It On A Muzzleloader
My CVA muzzleloader came with the worst scope I've ever used. I gave it a chance at the range and blew threw far too many expensive Barnes bullets and expensive powder tablets trying to get the thing on paper. No joy unless I was at 25 yards. On top of that, the eye relief on it was so bad it was more often than not I'd wack myself in the eye with the scope on recoil. No thanks... so I packed up, got home, ripped that thing off, and went looking for what every muzzleloader should have anyway, which is a fixed 4x scope. I was disappointed to find there are so few models for sale. I scoured the forums and auctions and only found people wanting new pricing for used scopes, which I refuse to participate in. Then, I accidentally came across this scope. I was discouraged by the fact it is marketed as a 22LR scope with w 22LR-intended reticle, but I figured I'd try it anyway. Well, it arrived, I mounted it up, took it to the range, found myself looking through a very, very generous eye relief scope with clear glass. Okay... strong marks so far. So I set the target at 25 yards and send a slug down range. Once the smoke cleared, I was not only on paper, but I only needed to address elevation, which I did lazily since I'm sighting in at 100 yards. Still weary, I put the target at 50 yards and sent another. Yep, still on paper. And this time, after a wee bit of elevation adjustment, another round hit the bullseye.
