Sightmark Ezekiel 1 - 10 Riflescope Review
I bought this scope to mount on my Colt 6940LE AR-15. No one else offers this kind of magnification range and the ones that come closest cost $1000+. I am a big Leupold fan and don't typically buy any other brand of scopes but I am low on $$$ right now. I figured if the scope was junk I could stick it on a .22lr AR-15 trainer and it would be fine for that purpose. The scope itself was of better quality than I expected. It is heavy but seems to be well made. I was surprised that the scope had excellent eye relief. The red/green reticule works well indoors and in low light. Not visible outdoors in bright light but the mil-dot reticule is still visible. The scope came with rings but I was not impressed with the quality plus I wanted a set with the quick dismount feature so I got some on order. The turrets on the scope turn in to lock and out to adjust. As I haven't mounted it yet I can't say how well the scope holds zero, point of impact changes, or the clicks are consistent. I will try to update the review once I get it to the range. The clarity of the scope was not the best. What can you expect though for this price? It is difficult to explain but the image appeared almost grainy as if you were looking at a really old TV screen. It is serviceable and it doesn't get better or worse as you change powers. This is the only reason I gave it 4 stars and not 5. The scope is a true 1 power so on the lowest setting you can keep both eyes open and use it just like it ...
