Quality and construction are very good. I wasn't expecting these to have Ekran EP33-U tubes and being made in Belarus. The overall quality is great. There is no junk floating around and the picture is excellent once you focus it. The headgear has enough adjustments to make it perfect. The googles can slide toward or away from your face and the heighth can be adjusted to get them at the right eye level. The brightness isn't as good as some Gen 1 devices I have tried though. I had to use the IR a little more than I would like when inside or with a quarter moon or less. On a half moon the brightness and clarity was outstanding. There is more fish-eye than I have seen in comparable products, but after a few minutes you don't really notice anymore. I had to constantly re-focus them. I focused them for about 50 yards out and that seemed to work best for seeing far and near without constantly adjusting them to make the picture perfect. I could almost see as far as I could see in daylight; but for accurately identifying animals, humans, or any other detailed object beyond 75 yards this Sightmark probably is not gonna do it. You can detect movement of animals beyond 100 yards but to tell if it is the neighbor's cat or marauding coon is hard.
Pros: Clarity, headgear adjustability, can see with both eyes
Cons: fish-eye, needs lots of re-focusing
