Most Helpful Positive Review Excellent Optic
From the moment I received this thing I have had nothing but positive results. I have a AR10 in 6.5 creedmoor, I have had this and one other brand optic on it. This one WAY out performs the other brand of similar price. The specific things I like about it are the Glass clarity, ease of use and the z...

Most Helpful Negative Review Sightmark is TERRIBLE.
I have had no less that 4 Sightmark scopes, including this one. They have all been uniformly terrible, and will NOT zero, will NOT hold, and have very poor quality optics. I switched to Vortex. Brighter optics, and steady zero. Sightmark tries to blame their problems on the consumer, saying "you did...

Put it to the test

by William Talbot, from CA, United States Written on November 19, 2023
So I have had this for a year now and have taken it on too deer hunting trips out west.(so cal desert) It is on a weatherby mark V chamber in 30-378. The eye relief is perfect for a big thumper. First hunting trip killed a deer at 475 dead on second trip didn’t find a deer. Now the good and bad. It is heavy as a brick and the illumination turns on when adjusting the parallax the glass is not the best but for the price it does not bother me at all tracking is good and seems very well built like a tank. With this I can see out past 2 miles fine
Pros:
  • Can see longer than you can shoot and eye relief
Cons:
  • Heavy

Sightmark latitude 10-40x60

by Shawn Hendricks, from MT, United States Written on August 7, 2023
Went into the store to buy a new vortex , sales man was good cond me into this sightmark. Got it home after having to buy new rings and base to fit the 34 mm tube. When I was leveling the scope I noticed the turrets where wrong. Mill turrets on an moa scope.(good catch QC ). So I shrugged that off and starting sending some down range. Horrible eye relief , parallax is way off. Any ways 3 shot group the size of a quarter out of my 300 rum at 200 yds . I thought ok I can deal with the imporfections. Moved out to 250 yds which is were I want this gun zeroed at. Make a couple slight windage adjustments and nothing. Made a couple more and nothing . One more time and wow jumped 6 inches off target. Tried to get it back and wouldn't ya know same results. Back and worth till I finally called it quits. 300 rum ammo is way to expensive to have a scope that acts like this. Called there customer service and wow what a joke. Taking it back to place I purchased it from to get my money back. Vortex razor gen 3 will be on it tomorrow. Which is what I originally wanted until I meet the used car salesmen and fell sucker for his bs. Won't happen again. Good luck guys and gals
Pros:
  • One good I can say is the packaging is nice and secure
Cons:
  • Bad eye relief, crappy parallax , dirty glass and unable to move impact point properly
Best Used for:
  • Paperweight

Not Worth It

by Matt, from VA, United States Written on March 19, 2022
Shipped back to Sightmark to have turrets replaced because they were Mil turrets on MOA scope. They had the scope for well over a year. I was patient, everybody had supply issues during COVID. I had some blurr right in the middle of the glass before I sent it back, so I had asked them to look into that. Now I have it back, the blurr is worse than it was before. The scope shoots, but the glass quality is crud. I won't buy sightmark scopes ever again. Now I have to see if someone wants to buy this scope from me knowing it's issues. I might get half my money back.
Pros:
  • Image is not dark at max power
  • 40x is nice
Cons:
  • Blurry Glass
  • Sightmark had my scope for over a year because they put mil turrets on an moa scope
  • They were told to look into the glass blurr, but all I got was a free hat instead
Best Used for:
  • spotting scope
  • A heavy monocular

not up to pair

by Peter, from MA, United States Written on March 20, 2021
Sorry-- finding poor quality glass with hazy images. Parallax is way off. Targets at 200 yards requires 300 yard parallax adjustment to be somewhat clear. This statement remains true " Buy quality and only cry once" Should have stayed with Vortex....
Pros:
  • cost
Cons:
  • Poor glass quality
Best Used for:
  • short range shooting
