So, I thought I'd cheap out on this laser in hopes the bad reviews I've read about it wouldn't effect me and boy was I wrong. I've read that if you use more force than necessary to tighten it that it'll break the base--this didn't happen to me. I'd also read that the thing works for about a week or two then just dies, this however did happen to me. I'd only fired about 100 rounds at the range with this thing on and it worked just fine for about a week after; I'd function checked this thing everyday afterwards and yesterday the thing just wouldn't come back on even after changing the battery. If I were you I'd save up and buy a more reliable laser, don't trust this thing with your life. The only good thing I can say about it is that it helped me achieve a solid 10 yard 50/200 zero, anything you point this laser at up to about 25 yards is gonna be spot on.

I got up to 30inch pounds of Torque on the mounting bolt and it stripped out the bolt. The book says 45-65 inch pounds for mounting bolt but so far that has failed. Other than that it seems to be a good sight. I have let sightmark know and waiting to hear back.

Excellent value and quality. In this case you get more than what you pay, especially if you can use a coupon to keep it under $100. Hasn’t lost its zero in 2.5 weeks of shooting. Only downside is the elevation and wind knobs are exposed with no cover or locking mechanism. This is why I took off a star for durability. If you are rough with your guns, this is probably not the best laser for you.

I ordered this item mistaking it for a small laser. I must have missed or misread the description believing "LoPro" meant it was small. This item is bigger than two decks of cards and is no way useful in front of a scope and would be quite clunky on the rail of a fore guard. I never used it, so I cannot attest to it's quality in use.

I purchased the Sight Mark LoPro Green Laser Sight at a Gun Show new in box. The system looked good and the idea was sound. Got it home and read the directions and torqued the screw to directed foot pounds and the screw broke off both rail lugs before reaching 50% of the recommended ft lbs. Went back to the gun show at Chantilly VA and the vendor gave me a new one right there only in a different color, I needed black but they only had flat earth. Ok. Took this home went shooting, took sight off rail system of my Stag Arms M-4, to clean weapon and went to put sight back on and same thing happened at less than 15 lbs of torque with the screws. As you know if you have one, if the screws break you can't replace the screws as they break off in the scope portion where they would have to be drilled out. Not happy with the quality of the scope for mounting purpose. The green laser is adequate at best as can not be seen well outside in daytime but is adequate in night time vision. Easy to zero, but who cares if breaks at mounting process.

This laser is ok for money. Fit my kriss vector well over all pretty happy. The laser has a pretty good beam it's not a vivid green as my crimson trace but for under 100$ it's great. Only reason for 4 stars is when I received it the bolt on the mount look like it had been tightened down to hard a scared the threads it was suppose to be new in box. But nothing die couldn't straighten out.

I use it for my home defense gun, as a backup sight, it can be used as a primary sight as well. I shopped around before I bought it and read some online message boards. I read nothing but good things about this laser sight, I'm glad I bought it, probably buy more. Good quality piece.

This is a wonderful durable product, it does everything advertised and I have had no trouble with it. It mounts very easily and points around mounted sights just fine. I would recommend this product to anyone needing or wanting a Laser Sight. It will mainly be used inside the home for self defense but works great outside also.

Easily installed and looks & feels like a superior product. Co-witnessing with scope or iron sights easily accomplished. Quick reaction shooting allowed heads up center of mass targeting at close ranges ! 10 yards max ! Targeting with laser is obtainable at longer distances , but my age limited that enterprise ! Would recommend this item as a fine system with no apparent limitations at my restricted ranges.

Good price, performance, and product. The 50 meter dot, in bright daylight, is quite visible and strong. At night it is almost too strong and with NVGs almost too bright, but it is excellent for checking the alignment of my passive IR targeting laser out to 300 meters. I have it mounted on the front right side of the quad rail, the mount holds well there and is out of the way of other optics. In the product pictures, you'll notice a little black strap on the back, this is the cover for the pressure switch attachment port. If this cover comes off it is difficult to reposition to keep the system water resistant (CAMO tape helps secure it, the tan color fits right into camo). The control knobs are smooth but can be bumped and easily turned so alignment must be checked. The design needs locking rings on these knobs to hold alignment in rough conditions like sliding in and out of carry bags. The on off switch works fine and is easily located and functioned with gloves on. The battery compartment is well designed but the spring on the inside cover goes with the positive end of the battery, counter intuitive, but follow the nice orientation picture on the unit. Overall a good deal.
Good product if you have the real estate to mount it.
